3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I was expecting this to be really bad. Not much of a black licorice fan. But this worked for me. I know it was a Halloween gimmick but both the tripel and the licorice worked well and brought out the highlights of each flavor. Light and bubbly too.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear golden pour with a white head. There’s not really much licorice to it. Mostly just sweet bread, a bit of toast, some licorice in the background, and a light herbal note. The flavor is a bit watery. Sweet bread dominates the flavor, mild yeast, spice, and herbal notes. Just a very faint licorice note in the background.
