aroma is woodsy caramel, pine. appearance is hazy deep gold/amber. medium carb, touch of lacing, pockets of film head linger. flavor is pine, darkened malty, errant fleeting fruits, unique pine character creates balance with excellent caramel. i thought this was an APA as i enjoyed it, the style label here explains some of the ’?’ that floated above my head but nothing explains how interesting and excellent this is.

Had this one on draught as part of a sampler at the brewpub in Lafayette, Indiana. Hazy, dark orange pour with a bright citrusy nose, potent piney hoppiness, unusual but very good!
