COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fizzy cider made from selected casks from our cellars. Fermented in chestnut casks at low temperatures according to the so-called "Granvas" system until January or February’s waning moon, when it is decanted into stainless steel vats. Ideal as an aperitif and to go with desserts.

Hope I’ve got the right cider here. I thought this was great; simple structure and a little sweet but super gluggable and really tasty. Hints of old oak and musty apples but this mostly cleaned itself up over time. A minerally talcum powder note runs right through the palate, lending an element of seriousness. Great stuff.

75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBWG 2012 – thx to sebletitje – clear, sparkling wine, apple-juice colour with no head, smells both sweet & bitter apple skin (seems closer to that than the actual fruit), touch white sugar, taste follows in suit, sweet upfront, bit bitter, apple skins & apples, touch green apples, more ripe yellow ones, hint honey, white-sugar sweetness, easy going body, definite above medium carbonation which works very well for this one, nice

Clear pale yellow body. Bit weak sourish aroma of apples. Heavily sweet, lightly sour flavour - very well balanced and quite complex. Reminds me of good moscato d’asti. Impressive.

14/I/2012 75cl bottle @ 1st RateBeer Belgian Winter Gathering - BB: n/a (2012-26) Thanks to sebletitje for bringing the bottle!

Clear pale yellow to greenish fluid, no head, lots of bubbles attached to the side of the glass. Aroma: bit fruity, dry, woody, vinous. MF: good carbon, medium body. Taste: very meaty, grapes, apples, peppery, bitter touch, tobacco, wood to ashes even. Aftertaste: green apples, bit of lime.

This is a seriously good cider. Bottle from Mane Liquor, shared at Cantina. Straw yellow pour with a big white head. Slightly sweet and woody on the nose. A touch of sweetness runs through this one with notes of oak, musk and apple skin. Everything works very well here. Awesome

Champenoise-bubbled, pale golden colour. Sweet apples and green apple, fruithoney, intense. Rather sweet, strange retronasal flavour of olives, ends on slight cloying sweetness in the very finish. Long sweet aftertaste, CO² is hardly felt in the palate. Not bad, if on the sweet side.

75 cl bottle @ RBBWG 2012, Antwerpen. Bought this one in Spain.

75 cl bottle @ RBBWG 2012, Antwerpen. Thanks to Sebletitje. Clear golden yellow coloured cider with no head and some medium carbonation. Nice fruity and peppery green apple hinted with some touches of oakyness and cedar wood. Smouth fruity and sprankling tange. Finish is rather swet fruity with a short peppery hint. Not directly what you would expect from an extra brut and rather sweet but enjoyable.

Golden colour, no real head. Aroma of green and sweet apples, wood and tobacco/cork. Quite vinous. Flavour sweetish, sweet apple, slight wood. Lightly bitter, some pepper. Finish apples, with some wood coming up again.
(From 75cL bottle @ RBBWG Antwerpen. Thanks for sharing, sebletitje!)

Bottle. Clear pale orange, white mousse vanishes immediately. Apples, slight sulfur, a little tangy. Looks like it’s going to be quite fizzy, but no. Pretty sweet with cooked apples and a little sharpness. The sweetness departs rapidly and there is wood, some tart apple and light spice left at the end. A little on the sweet side for me but plenty going on.
