Wenig herber, mild würziger Antrunk. Etwas intensiver im Mittelteil, kaum hopfig, hell. Schnell fällt das Bier in seinem milden Trott zurück, langweilig. 8/8/9/7/7/7

Bottle 33 cl from Gourmiland (CH). Hazy coppery-amber with a nice cream head collapsing quickly. Fresh malted aromas, flowery, caramel, hint of hay. The taste is similar, malted, barely sticky with notes of honey without excessive sucrosity, cereals, hay and herbs. Minor but adaquate bitterness. Drinks pleasantly without any effort. But why Stella Maris.

33cl bottle shared by embrouille@TriState Tasting II. Pours a golden amber. Some dry meadow honey in the nose, malt base tastes dry and biscuity, somewhere between a nutty ESB and caramel ambrée, while the hop profile remains reticent, with a late subtle floral appearance. Not one to proselytise, but decent enough.

Bottle 33cl @2ndTSRG, a cloudy copper beer with low head. Nose is low on dry malt. Aroma is on dry malt, toasted malt, bit low body, light honey touch, very easy drinkable.

Amber color with a red copper hue, medium sized head. Nice aroma, biscuity, some bread. Smooth mouthfeel, highly carbonated; some caramel flavor, with cereals aftertaste; moderate bitterness.
Not bad, but it could be more daring.

courtesy of Julian Allen - cloudy dark amber-orange beer with a moderate foam left; aroma of sweet honey and with light flowery tones; a good malt body, rounded; a late and light tartness before residual sweetness; herbal and honeyish aftertaste - easy and ok

33cl bottle. Hazy amber. Abundant foam disappears quickly. Malt aroma. Medium bodied, honey is well integrated in this balanced sweetish brew. Carbonation not ideal, but overall not too bad.

UPDATED: JAN 17, 2013 Bottled 33cl. It pours a hazy amber beer with a decent head. Raisins, honey and caramel are most present in the nose. Low bitterness. Rather sweet with a creamy palate. Medium bodied. Remarkably nutty finish which is reminiscent of walnuts.
