Poured a cloudy straw yellow color with aromas of light wheat, some bubble gum and a touch of banana. Flavors were light wheat, yeast and a touch of banana. Decent beer over all one of the better ones I tried from these guys.

On draft at Cajun Cafe Spring Fest 2012. Pours a nice hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is light bread, light banana, and some light cloves. Flavor is similar- overall a very nice, refreshing hefe, medium in body and finishing with lingering banana in the finish.

5/16/11. On tap at the brewery. Cloudy pale yellow pour with a small white head that sticks. Light banana aroma with big clove and a definite diacetyl kick. Slightly sour flavor with banana in the middle and diacetyl again, like a butterscotch banana. Lingers with a cream flavor but huge, burning carbonation.

From tap via a sample plate, at the brewpub, on Jan 31, 2011
Cloudy yellow color, fizzy white head. Sweet, banana ester, some candy scent. Rather dry, mopussy, mineral, banana taste. Moussy mouthfeel, medium bitterness to the dry side.
Well made, but I’d prefer some sweetness in the taste and aftertaste, not so dry.

drat at the brewpub pours golden haze, thin white head. Aroma of clove, banana and some earthiness. Flavor, sweet and fruity, hints of spices; clove with some herbal medicinal mouthfeel that was very enjoyable. Same banana and earthiness palate.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2009 Same beer as the one Franz brewed at Hoppers. Poured up on tap at the Lagerhaus brewpub. It poured gold with some haze to go along with a white head. The aroma is grainy, some banana, a sense of wheat and faint lemon. The taste feels like it has fine grainy debris to go along with some dryness. I get flavors of solid grainy malts that feel and taste refreshing to go along with mild levels of banana heading toward faint lemon acidity. Great hot weather beer.
