Tap @ Lagerhaus. clear golden, white head. aroma, floral, grassy and citrus, some hints of corn-like sweetness, grainy; wheat. flavors, lemon/citrus hops, silky palate. Mild residual yeast is palpable. Touch of wheat and malt add to the finish of this Helles. The hop profile is more pronounced and nicely citrusy.

Handbottle thanks to David. Drank with my in-laws. Pours a very cloudy yellow color with a large white head. A sweet honey and citrus nose. The flavor is very drinkable; a spicy bite, honey, citrus, smooth earthy malts. Enjoyable.

On tap at the brewpub pouring gold with sandy hues, medium opacity and white head. The aroma came across a bit acidic with lemon and spicy hops with a modest fresh grainy malt component in the background. The taste was prickley with a high level of carbonation that seemed to enhance the sharp citrus like acidic notes and spicy hops. Once the beer warmed up a bit and some carbonation was lost the tasty grainy malts came to the surface.
