Countbeer (4311) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - JAN 1, 2013
Bottle: Medium sized slow disappearing creamy head on top of a hazy murky darker orange colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, grapefruit, bitter flowers, some malts, other citrus fruits. Smells good. Taste pine, resin, grapfruit, citrus, hop, bitter, some malts, flowers, floral bitters. Nice. Aftertaste is bitter, floral, hops, creamy and crisp. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, good medium to light body an a light creamy body.

erickok (3424) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - MAR 1, 2013
Deep brown body, somewhat hazy and with frothy light tan head. Looks really nice. Very pleasant hop aroma with forest smells, tropical fruit, bit of fermentation going on, humous malts as backbone. Very autumn like yet hopped and not sweet and dark like your typical autumn drink. Strong bitterness, with only just enough malts to back it up. Rich tasting ending. This might be the first French beer I’ve even had that is perhaps too bitter and too big hopped. Well, I’m not complaining! (75cl bottle from Bière Révolution)

Bottle at La Fine Mousse, Paris
Hazy amber color; medium sized compact head. Very nice American hop aroma, and sweet malt. Good body strength, but almost not sweet; still the caramel and hop flavor is good.
A different take.

75cl bottle. Hazy brown with low to medium grey head. Nose : tart, agrumes, citrus zest, toffee. Sip : oily texture, low carbonation. Medium texture. Sweet tart flavour. Some toffee. Fruity taste is well balanced. Good beer , reminds Imperial IPA and double belgian. OK.

Leighton (10512) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2012
Bottle at home in London. Pours clear, bright copper with a medium, frothy white head. Nose holds some light spice, toasty malts, some grains. Light to medium sweet flavor, bit of dry caramel in there, some dark grapefruit, orange. Medium bodied with fine to average, creamy carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, some lightly resinous, toasty pine, mild dry caramel, very mild tangy fruits, a bit of toasted, whole grain bread. Quite a nice beer, certainly interesting. Drinks well below its ABV - impressively so. Good stuff.

amber color, with good offwhite head. Resinous and earthy danky hop nose, caramel, dank, earhy american hops. Nice body and slightly less than average bittereness with regards to style. A really nice surprice.

ThirstyBird (1480) - Düsseldorf, GERMANY - SEP 11, 2013
Pours orangish brown with a lofty light tan head. Smell is bright fruity hops, lemon, nice mild malt. Taste is as it smells - a very nice beer. Body is light/medium and carbonation is medium level and nicely soft. A nice find.

Quack-Duck (7773) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 30, 2014
bottle from Village de la Bière Strasbourg. Amber colour, off-white head and a lovely hoppy nose. Full-bodied, solid malty base with the right richness to support all the aromatic and bitter hops. Hints of citrus fruit and tropical fruit, also some gooseberry. Good one!
