Bottle 75cl, a brown beer with huge copper head. Nose is on roasted malt and dark coffee. Aroma is on dry roasted malt, typical roasted coffee, shy hops, stout in the UK way, light metallic finish. Long roasted notes on aftertatste. More a dry stout ?

0.75l bottle from Bièrerie Illkirch-Graffenstaden. Almost black with a persistent off-white to beige head. Aroma of dark malts. Light-bodied, dark malts, quite roasty with hints of coffee and dark, bitter chocolate. Dusty, dry hops in the finish.

Bottle, 33cL. 4,5% alc. Vol. Tasting over 10°C. A dark beer whith brown hues at the bottom of my glass. Beige big creamy head with a a good retention. Aroma of coffee, roast, dark fruits, red berries, herbs. Light sweet, medium evolving dry bitter, acid note. Medium body, thin silky texture, soft carbonation, herbal bitter lasting finish. Overall, a good surprise : beautiful, surprising complex delicious aroma. TAste doesn’t try to "push" or impress. Definitely a good one !

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Very dark brown to black color with a deep dark red glow coming through when held into the light, medium sized light brown head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, lightly roast malts, earthy and slightly chocolate. Taste malts, dark malts, again a bit earthy, lightly bitter, lightly dry. Average to medium body and carbonation.

Bue en bouteille de 33 cl. Arômes café, torréfiés, très maltés. Finale presque sucrée. Manque de corpulence à mon goût.
