fiulijn (15060) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 10, 2011
Hazy light amber color; medium sized creamy head. Good hop aroma, maybe not too fresh, but nice indeed, with resiny hops, fruity, a bit creamy. Toffee flavor, on the dry side; nevertheless the body is well constructed, even if lean, and smooth; the bitterness is extremely high and resiny, leading to a strong final. Maybe too old and not fresh anymore, but it shows all the qualities of Lagunitas.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy earthy sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is another very good beer from this house.
