Lots of wheat for a curious malt complexity and leaving it light in color, but huge in flavor and satisfaction
Net contents: Ounces and ounces of Malt, Hops, Yeast and water.

On tap. Served a nice golden color with a good head and ample lacing. Aroma of grapefruit, some fruit sweetness and grass. Taste of Grapefruit, bit of pine, nice fruity sweetness and bit of grain. Good bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body, crisp and satisfying. Very well balanced as there is no hint of the 8.5% ABV. Excellent beer well worth checking out.

Bottle from CBX. Clear deep golden pour with a fluffy white head. Juicy grapefruit, peach, pine and resinous hops nose with a subtle bready malt backbone. Flavor is similar yet incredible balanced while still maintaining generous hops flavor and a lingering bitterness. Nice stuff.

I’m trying to talk myself out of giving this beer a perfect rating, because that seems amateurish IMO, but damnit this IPA is just too good to knock it. It’s a perfect IPA to me! Beautiful honey-orange pour with a white fluffy head, nice lacing, and good retention. Aroma is both sweet tropical fruits and loads of dankness combined, with citrus notes in there as well. Full bodied, sticky mouthfeel, incredible taste that follows the aroma nicely. A job well done, Lagunitas!

A really good ale. Aromas of honey and caramel. Flavors are sweet citrus, some dank, with a lasting bitterness on the end. Great stuff

Poured from bottle into snifter. Clear gold with creamy white head. Smell has some fruity hops and bread/ grain. Taste is some grains and some fruit, sweet, not too bitter, not boozy at all. Palate is smooth and creamy. Overall, very nice beer, I really like it.

Pours light and clear with a frothy, lingering head. Aroma is pretty much just citrus hops. Flavor is sweet citrus and a nice bitter finish. Medium to liggt body, prickly mouthfeel. Easy drinking and delicious.

Bottle. The look is clear, off white head, and bright golden in color. The smell is fruits, super fruity, hops, hay, earth, floral, and nice. The taste is mostly the same, a decent amount of sweetness, fruity, and ok.

Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Lagunitas mason jar From: Cherokee Market in Normal Heights (San Diego), Calif. Price: $11.99 for a 6-pack Purchased: Aug. 16, 2014 Consumed: Aug. 16, 2014 Misc.: N/A Poured a honey, orange, semi-clear color with four fingers of rocky, white head. Above-average-to-good uneven, foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Great retention. (Sight - 4.00) Smelled pleasant whiff of citrus hops, floral hops, caramel malts, Simcoe hops, mango, tropical, tangerine rind, spicy light rye, melon, light wet Cascade and some soapy pine. (Smell - 4.15) Tasted somewhat similar to the nose, but less boozy. Got earthy rye, caramel malts, Simcoe hops, mango, melon, tropical, citrus, floral, soapy, tangerine, wet Cascade and light bitter grapefruit. Booziness came back late (Taste - 4.25) Light-to-medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Bitter, abrupt finish. (Feel - 4.00) Just a really good IIPA. Maybe this 6-pack grows on me and I add to the rating. Well done. (Overall - 4.17) 4.18 93 A-
