I never give a perfect score to a beer because to me, perfection doesn’t exist when it comes to beer or food. To be fair, I must say that this one is pretty much close to perfection! First, Lagunita’s labels and beer names are funny! Then comes the serving... This one has a great looking golden colour with just enough carbonation to make the liquid jiggle in the glass. Head is foamy and the strong citrus aromas still make their way through this thick bubbly white head. Taste is absolutly beautiful: pink grapefruit, lemon, flowers, lime, malts.. it is so complex, that I can barely name a few ingredients storming in my mouth right now! The mouthfeel is outstanding with a smooth carbonnated bitterness, low alcool, a little sugar and a fine long long magnificent fruit taste that stays in your mouth as the liquid is going down the throath. As I said, it is simply a principle matter that I don’t give this beer a perfect score. This is just the perfect ale for me! Btw, sorry for all the mistakes, English is not my first language.

12 oz bottle from BOTW, served cool in a tulip glass. Clear golden with a full white head. Lots of pungent citrus, lightly resinous and peppery, quite sweet and sticky, tropical fruits, rich. Medium body, fairly full carbonation. Lots of sticky, sweet malt, pungent citrus, peppery, resinous, fruity; sweet with decent bitterness and a long, mouth-coating finish that is quite fruity and hoppy.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear medium amber, full beige head cover, walls of broken lace. Aroma of hops and a little malt. Taste is caramel malt that builds through the palate, finally allowing a satisfying shot of hops in on the swallow, only to have malt join in for a blended finish. Really solid, really enjoyable, recommended.

Tap at Hop In,Calgary. Cloudy golden, offwhite cream Piney, resinny hops, lychee and citric play. Medium body, sticky hop oils on the palate. Big hops but not cloyingly so. Nice to sip.

12 oz bottle. Tasted on 12/8/14. Bottle from Gomer's in Kansas City. Pours to a dark golden color with very little head. The aroma has pine, resin, citrus & caramel. The taste has the usual Lagunitas funkiness in a good way & was similar to the aroma on taste. Overall a good beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Systembolaget. Aroma is sweet of malts and with some grassy hops. Pours clear orange with a medium white head. Taste is both sweet and hoppy with a hint of wheat. Palate is sticky and sweet. Overall an okay beer. Body is fuller than expected from a DIPA.

Keg at the Three Johns, London. It pours a vibrant ripe peach with a large white head. Aroma is grassy, citrusy, grainy and hoppy with fruit notes of mango, apricots and citrus. Taste is mildly bitter and citric, with notes of hay, grass, mango, grapefruit, pine cones and light tangy berries. Finishes lightly tangy and dry, mildly bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, very nice although feels to lack the dankness of the base beer
