COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lots of wheat for a curious malt complexity and leaving it light in color, but huge in flavor and satisfaction

Nice orange color with minimal head. Smell is citrus and some sweetness. Taste is citrus and malt with some of the wheat shining through. Slight alcohol taste. Nice offering

64 IBU. Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 07.02.14. A: Tropical fruit. Pineaplpe and mango. A: 2 finger fluffy head. See through straw yellow body. Beautiful. Great lacing. T: Pineapple, mango, tangerine dominate. Pine and malt are subtle. P: Creamy. Bubbly enough. O: This is not as hoppy as regular Sumpin’ Sumpin’. There is some alcohol heat too. I was looking forward to this one, but it is a little disappointing. There are a lot of flavors going on and some don’t mix very well. It was ok.

Shared bottle, pint glass. Shiny light gold. Little head. Typical Lagunitas hoppiness, but tempered by the wheat (I think).

The aroma is full and rich, complex malts and kinda heavy with a slight hint of citrus hanging on its back. The taste is like the little sister, a little round from the wheat but fresh and fully bodied. The hops is not as dominant, but they are there. There is actually a little much of alcohol breaking through in the end to make this a real bomb. But it is still up there as a top brew!!

Very interesting here. Pours golden into the glass, with a fizzy head that leaves wispy lacing. The nose is of piney resin. Flavors are sweet, a bit different than the traditional malt billing for an Impy IPA. The wheat almost pulls away from the citrus flavors noted in the "traditional impy", save for some lemon and lemongrass. A decent grain bill, though, almost like an Imperial Saison. The pine grassy bitter finish is hefty and lingers appropriately. The full body and active carbonation make for a zesty mouthfeel that substantiates the palate. A definitely different take on the Double IPA, but not unwelcome whatsoever. Prost to the creativity here!

Se acharem provem. Otimo balanço entre malte e lupulo, com final amargo. Pena que a garrafa é pequena.

I never give a perfect score to a beer because to me, perfection doesn’t exist when it comes to beer or food. To be fair, I must say that this one is pretty much close to perfection! First, Lagunita’s labels and beer names are funny! Then comes the serving... This one has a great looking golden colour with just enough carbonation to make the liquid jiggle in the glass. Head is foamy and the strong citrus aromas still make their way through this thick bubbly white head. Taste is absolutly beautiful: pink grapefruit, lemon, flowers, lime, malts.. it is so complex, that I can barely name a few ingredients storming in my mouth right now! The mouthfeel is outstanding with a smooth carbonnated bitterness, low alcool, a little sugar and a fine long long magnificent fruit taste that stays in your mouth as the liquid is going down the throath. As I said, it is simply a principle matter that I don’t give this beer a perfect score. This is just the perfect ale for me! Btw, sorry for all the mistakes, English is not my first language.
