Draft. Copper orange pour with good size white head. Piney citrus hop aroma with pronounced grapefruit. Somewhat muted and delayed bitterness in the finish.

Pours a two finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Clear light amber color. Nose is pine hops. Flavor is strong pine hop, hoping for a little caramel, don’t find any. No doubt this has high IBUs. Label puts the ABV at 7.5%. $2.25 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, MA.

Juicy tangerine and apricot aroma with oaty malt overtones, some kibble as well. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Apricot and tangerine flesh flavor, less malty than it smells. Lemon and lime peel finish. Smooth mouthfeel, alcohol concealed, not heavy, medium body. Bitterness is fashionably late. Wow! This is such a delight! Near perfect and one of my new favorite DIPAs. Tame intensity for the style, but there’s something to be said about moderation, even in big styles.

Woody pine and oak hop aroma. Roasted malt, rye-like: dark & spicy. Nutty, dry backbone, mineral-like. Hop dominates, but equaled by bitter malt.
The appearance is deep cloudy orange. Slow carbonation. Big puffy white head. Wispy lace.
Woody taste, very resinous hop. Bitter as hell. Earthy raked leaves. Spicy on the malt end; rye and almost a peppery burn. Could use a break somewhere (citrus? a dark fruit?) but it works. Toffee comes in a base; molasses.
Creamy and milky. Oily, slick complexion. Strong flavors all around, not a respite to be had. Slightly disappointing but very drinkable.

on tap at Cap Ale House Midlothian. The beer came and sa light golden and clear. Moderate off-whit head, not big but not thin either For what there was, it stuck around. Good lacing. On the nose there was a light citrus-y aroma. The beer had a medium-light body and had some bitterness in the finish that offset the residual sweetness. Nicely balanced. As the beer warmed, the hop flavor came through more, citrus, resin-y, earthy. Again nicely balanced on the tongue. This beer hits the right notes and I will be getting some more the first chance I get.

Wow! I really liked this! Hazy orangy colour with good similar head. Aroma is a bounty of flowery hop aromas with candy like malt sugars. Flavour compliments this the bitterness is not that strong probably because of all the sugar. Body is decent.

I was super excited when I saw this on the shelves last year since Sumpin’ Sumpin’ was one of my most enjoyed beers last year. Something just didn’t jive though, flavor is a little sweet and malty, aroma isn’t as nice and fresh and enticing, the alcohol is a little much. I’d prefer if they just released Sumpin’ Sumpin’ for a longer period...

I’m not joking! I can drink Lagunitas all day, every day! There’s reasons for that too, besides the absolutely amazing flavors within...they don’t overcharge! Dank!

Pours looking very much like a standard wheat. Medium frothy white head with a see thru golden color. Smells of oranges, honey, and pine. Lighter than my usual fair. Hoppy (surprisingly) with a lot of pine flavor. Honey flavor is subtle but present. Goes down smooth and then turns to a slight long lasting hop tartness. Very pleased and impressed with the originality.
