Lots of wheat for a curious malt complexity and leaving it light in color, but huge in flavor and satisfaction

Keg at the Three Johns, London. It pours a vibrant ripe peach with a large white head. Aroma is grassy, citrusy, grainy and hoppy with fruit notes of mango, apricots and citrus. Taste is mildly bitter and citric, with notes of hay, grass, mango, grapefruit, pine cones and light tangy berries. Finishes lightly tangy and dry, mildly bitter. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, very nice although feels to lack the dankness of the base beer

A golden color with a white head. Aroma contains grapefruit and orange along with some perfume. Flavor is well balanced only slightly bitter with a strong orange peel presence. Overall a good IPA.

Lys brun klar med lavt tykt skum. Masse humle, sydhavsfrukter, ananas, grapefrukt og lett karamellukt. Bittersøt smak som forventet. Humle, lett karamell og fruktsødme ligger bak. Bitterheten sitter lenge. Medium kullsyre.

How some ratings disappear, I’ll nver know. This is Aptly named in that is very similar, just slightly stronger and therefore slightly sweeter than the original. Good stuff.

Bottle. Amber with a non retaining white head. Aroma has lots of caramel, cookie dough, pine and citrus. Taste is pretty much the same as the aroma, quite heavy and resinous. Medium body, soft carbonation, smooth with a crispy finish. Not that long bitter finish as many other but at 64 IBU, that’s totally understandable.
Solid DIPA from Lagunitas, they never seem to fail my taste buds!

Pours clear light orange gold with a bitchin' lumpy, foamy, leggy head of off-white. Aroma is candy caramel malts. Taste flips to the hop side - pine, intense grapefruit (especially on the back side) - on a decent caramel malty backbone. Ample bitterness. Juicy!

Pours clear amber with a thick head.
Pine, resin, wood and pineapple on the nose.
Taste is wood, pine, resin, honey and raisins. Long bitterness.

Just had Lagunitas Born Yesterday, and really wish this was a second bottle of that. This isn’t bad. Overly bitter for the amount of hops on board. A finely crafted beer. but flavor is dominated by bitter and the taste follows suit. I never advocate for malt sweetness, but this could handle it. It really needs a little summore hops after the boil. Missing the brightness and tasty flavors that late hoping brings.
