Lots of wheat for a curious malt complexity and leaving it light in color, but huge in flavor and satisfaction
Net contents: Ounces and ounces of Malt, Hops, Yeast and water.

On tap at Steinís in Mountain View. Pours a hazy yellow with full white head. Moderate tropical and lemon, with balanced mouthfeel from the wheat. Refresher for this alcohol.

22 oz bomber, served in a tulip. Pours bright deep orange with thin lacy cream-colored head. Aroma is sweet, slightly nutty caramel malt with medium piney earthy hops on the back. Taste is thick, syrupy sweet caramel malt; hops are big with strong pine and dark citrus notes, cutting the sweetness nicely. This bottle is a bit old, probably muting the hops a bit. More clearly a DIPA than Sumpin Sumpin or Sumpin Wild. Solid beer, even when aged too long.

I believe that it is quite correct to proclaim that many Lagunitas products taste similar. For those of us who find this flavor palette to be straight down the middle of the alley, itís good news. For those who donít, I guess itís just more of the same old. I say, more power to the brewers! More off the point, I read a review which suggested that Ms. Little Sumpiní was wearing lederhosen on the label. True, her shorts are green like lederhosen, but she lacks the traditional built in suspenders, and as we all know, leather shorts are meant to show off the legs of men, not women in Bavaria. Whatever, itís a very 1940ís hairdo and I heartily approve of her WW2 pinup looks. But wait, this is supposed to be a beer review, right? One of my pals on the Aestheteís Paradise (aka BA) has hit the nail on the head...... "íPours a clear honey straw color with a short dense creamy head that settles into a light ring and left a small wall of lacing on the glass. The aroma is of a sweet honey malt. A bit too sweet. Some tropical fruit notes from the hops; big pineapple and apricot presence. The taste is strong with the tropical fruit notes. Big pineapple and overripe mango. Some apricot and pepper hop notes as well. The malt is sweet and has honey notes. The combination of the tropical fruit hop notes and the sweet malt lead to a very sweet beer. The bitterness from the hops helps offset this but it is a bit too sweet for my liking. Moderate body with prickly carbonation. Quite sweet on the palate but its not cloying as there is enough of a bitter offset. Almost sticky but not quite. This beer walks a fine line on being too sweet and undrinkable. It doesnít get there but I much rather have the regular version of this beer or the Sucks! The malt is a bit too beefy and sweet. I figure it is the bigger wheat malt bill.í" ...thanks to the anonymous Mr G man, who evidently resembles a dog and lives who knows where ... Whatever. I couldnít care less. Will be sucking down vast amounts of this, as long as it is available.

Pour on tap, clear orange pour with fluffy white head, aroma brought notes of big orange, grapefruit, white fruit with peach, some pear into some biscuit, bread, vanilla into a bit of yeasty spice. Taste was a mix of pepper, orange, pear into some sweet biscuit, some more fruit into some slight grassy, herbal spice, finishing bitter.
