Lots of wheat for a curious malt complexity and leaving it light in color, but huge in flavor and satisfaction

22 oz bottle via Hagen. Pours a clear copper with a huge off white head. Nose is strong with notes of toffee and mango. Taste is sweet iced tea, toffee, biscuits, pineapple, mango and some earthy piny hops. Body is full, this is a bit syrupy. Carbonation is medium. Pretty tasty but more a barleywine than an IIPA as it is very malt-driven.

Pours Amber with small white head. Aroma of pine and citrus, with a little sweetness. Flavor is a little maltier than expected, with a back end combination of bitter and sweet. Very interesting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a deep amber semi-transparent with a thin foamy white head that clings to the glass and hangs around a while. Nice aroma of citrus, tropical fruits, and hops. It had a nice smooth feel with decent flavors. Minimal bitterness without being too harsh. I’m not the biggest fan of the IPA styles but this was very enjoyable. Better than many others I have tried that were just too bitter or harsh on the throat.

Poured a clear orange color with aromas of bubble gum, citrus, light pine and malt. Flavors are clean malt with some light oine, sweetness doesn’t taste like 8.5%....

Poured from as bottle. Nice grapefruit and pine in the nose. Golden hue with some orange breaks in the middle. Frothy white head that laces nicely as I drink. Sweetness in a dominant wheat flavor of the malt with grapefruit and citrus flavors as the bitterness comes through.

Nice golden pour with a wheat and citrusy aroma. Certainly more dense than the Sumpin’ Sumpin’. Great piney and citrusy flavor. Pretty much a hop bomb through and through. I do get a sense of the wheat in this with a zesty and spicy flavor. I get a complex finish that is buttery rich, peppery and earthy.
