Body was mostly clear with some haziness, with a nice, dark-orange color. Fantastic aroma... hops, with some citrus and wheat in there as well. Medium-body on the palate; thin, but with some slight creaminess to it as well. Average carbonation and a bitter finish. Great flavor - citrus and a small amount of wheat at first, then a very bitter aftertaste that is long-lasting. A great wheat ale / IPA... whatever the official designation may be. alobar (1016), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of grapefruit, hops, pine... On the tongue-super well-balanced IPA with citrus, hops, and a bit of sweetness. Very well done! kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Very hoppy nose in the grapefruit vein. Nice fragrance. Color is slightly hazy gold, with a white head. Palate is nice. Some maltiness envelopes the hoppiness. Kinda velvelty feel to it which in my mind is a bit unusual in an IPA. I like it. But it is relatively straight ahead, not much subtlety which keeps it from a top rating. HOPSHUNTER (376), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Draft at BrewGarden. Poured a clear golden color with a 2 finger white head. Nose is uber citrus, piney hops. Medium bodied, great carbonation. Pretty sweet with a huge hop presence. Lots of caramel, earthiness, pine, and citrus. Very crisp beer with a good dose of hops bitterness. Finishes sweet and bitter. Overall very one dimensional which is exactly how I like my IPAs. Lagunitas is really impressing me with their IPAs and this one is no exception, Killer. Nail (11), Georgia, USA

Great color, an aroma of wonderful fresh hops, nice head with good lacing, a very well balanced easily drinkable beer with just the right amount of bitterness. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Bronze colored with light head and not a whisper of the advertised wheat essence through out. For all intents and purposes this is a standard, but solid west coast IPA. Chinook and citrusy hops fill the nose and translate similar to the flavor profile with pronounced Chinook bitterness on the finish. Slight off-tastes of sourness and soap, but mostly clean. On the downside, this lacks complexity--pretty much a one note brew. yespr (12022), Copenhagen O, Denmark
