3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: JUN 9, 2012 A: A large fizzy white head sits atop a crystal clear golden-yellow body. The head quickly receded leaving a light, spotty film down the glass.
S: Bright citrus hops. Lemon-orange and some pine. Not much of a wheat/grain character as I would have expected.
T: Lemon tinged hop bitterness is highly pronounced. Light wheat flavor and a slightly off pseudo-bitterness. Not sure how to describe it other than to compare it to an alcohol burn but more in the front of the mouth than in the back of the throat.
M: Dry and crisp finish to a light bodied brew. Not particularly refreshing.
O: The aroma is the highmark for this beer. The taste has a slightly off bitterness to it that diminishes an other wise nice lemon-wheat flavor. Again this beer smells and looks like it should be a nice refreshing brew, but alas it falls short.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
I’m not sure why this would be called a "wheat" at some places. This seems like a true iPA. Pours golden orange, smells fruity and woody. Not overly hoppy but gets the job done, great beer

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours burnt orange with a nice head, good retention. Aroma is mildly citrus and piny. Hoppy and crisp up front with a creamy mid palate. Finish is perfectly bitter but not over the top. This balanced brew will please the experienced as well as the newbie IPA drinker. Easy drinking for the ABV!

had no idea the alcohol content does not reflect it. taste a bit floral and small aftertaste but still enjoyable even if you are searching for something bland, which i know you are not. i would like 6 of these.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Solid India Pale Ale. Bitterness throughout with grapefruit and other citrus flavors. Crisp and smooth. Sticky sweet caramel in the background. Well balanced. Finish is dry but just a bit thin. Bitterness does have a nice linger to it. Tasty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Gold pour with a one inch white head. Aroma is pine, floral, and tropical (pineapple and mangoes). Taste is citrus, pith, and a sugary sweetness that is like the Lagunitas Sucks, but not as pronounced. Carbonation is lower and body is medium.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz bottle. Rating #670. Clear, dark gold pour with a clingy white head. Hoppy aroma, a little pine and a little grapefruit. Juicy citrus right up front, sweet grapefruit is most prominent, very tasty. (2071)
