Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpin’ sumpin’ we all need to kick Summer into full swing! Ingredients: Hops, Malt, Hops, Hops, Yeast, Hops, Water, and Hops.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2012 12oz bottle. Pours semi-clear orange-yellow with a small egg shell head, very good lacing. Smell is of hops, floral, and citrus. Taste is tangerine, lemon, grapefruit, a little caramel, and a touch of wood bark. End is very hoppy but not over bitter. The dankest beer ever tried.

12 ounce bottle. Served in a tulip glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with a half inch off-white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is citrusy hops (grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemon peel), floral hops and a bit of sweet malt. The taste is similar to the aroma, but there’s the addition of some honey flavors, pine hops and wheat. I don’t think this beer is made with honey, but it seems to me that there’s a honey-like sweetness noticable. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit creamy and smooth and has good carbonation. It’s very easy and enjoyable to drink, too. I think this is a pretty good brew, it’s definitely worth a try!

Bottle bought at GBBF 2011. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white fluffy head on top. Lovely aroma of tropical fruit, hops. Tastes hoppy, fruity, malty, pine. A proper American IPA, right up my street, love this brewery.

Slighty cloudy golden color with puffy white head. The nose is medium with big grapefruit and gooseberries. The citrus and berry notes continue on the palate. Semi sweet finish without being super heavy.

Bottle. Pours a honey color. Medium sized white head with little retention. Nice lacing. Fruity aroma with penty of grass and pine. Flavor is of hoppy bitterness. Palate is on the high side of medium. Very dry finish. Lots of bitterness. Overall a very respectible IPA

Great Ale when we can find it. Nice burnished copper colour with a dense head that laces the pint. A bit funky and fruity nose that belies it’s strength. Very smooth in the mouth and powerful grapefruit on the tongue back by sweeeet malt. One of my bride’s favourites. As usual, a great job by Lagunitas.

Bottle. Light golden, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, very fruity, some caramel, floral citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish flavor, fruitiness with some piney and floral citrus hoppyness, faint caramel. Finish is average, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly swetish, frutiness with floral citrus hoppyness, some caramel. Fruity and floral IPA - not for me.
