Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpin’ sumpin’ we all need to kick Summer into full swing! Ingredients: Hops, Malt, Hops, Hops, Yeast, Hops, Water, and Hops.

Hazy, yet still clear somewhat light golden orange, with nice creamy white head, leaving a good considerable amount of foamy lacing. Very sweet, fruits, tropical fruits, maybe some banana, pineapples hit the nose. Very pleasant. Very citrusy and fruity, without being overly getting sick from it sweet, but sweet nonetheless. Hops come in noticeably in the end, to balance it all out. Light to average carbonation, maybe below average carbonation, which is always a plus in my book. Medium body. A damn fine beer, very interesting. Pleasant and sweet, while still being consumable for more than one or two,it makes a good session brew and a break from the usual.

Tap at Sam Horne’s served in a Mason jar. Golden pour with a thin bright white head. Lightly carbonated. Faint Earthy hop aroma. Tastes like fresh hops but with the sweetness and light body of wheat. Yum! Slippery mouthfeel but finishes dry. Dangerously deceptive at 7.7% ABV. I would have guessed much lighter, between 5% and 6%. I’ve avoided this six pack in the stores many times because it never looked as good as other options but I’m going to pick up some bottles for a post-lawn mowing moment this weekend.

On at tap at Bodega on the patio, a server’s suggestion that was right on the head, served in a pint glass. A lightly clear with good retention and lacing...The aroma is nothing special, pretty light honey a little hops on the back. Easy to drink and tasty.

Pours amber with a nice even head. Notes of citrus hops drive right through the palate from the nose. Hops finish big as the bittering hops certainly make an appearance.

This IPA is smoother than their regular IPA but the hops are still complex. Not as bitter but just as good as is every Lagunitas Brew.

Aroma is citrus, pour is golden and hazy. Great citrus and pine hop flavor, ending in a nice slightly bitter finish the ends dry. A great beer.

Poured into a Lagunitas pint glass. Color is a citrusy orange with a generous cream colored head. Aroma is primarily hops: citrusy, floral, grassy, with some sweet malts in the background. Flavor matches well with hops in the forefront and some sweet malts in the background. Palate is smooth with only slight hop bitterness Overall a damn good IPA - this is how I like them - plenty of hop flavor without the extreme bitterness. Too many brewers seem to think that IPA’s just need to be bitter and don’t really need any flavor.

12oz bottle 3/23/11 (Courtesy of RSRIZZO)-48° in Tulip-Pours a light orangish amber with a big loose white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. Taste of the same with more hops and citrus. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and easy to drink. Nice IPA.

Bottle thanks to EZant Via EZ liquors. Pours out a lively carbonated golden/straw color with a small off white head. Aroma is of citrus, pine and some fruity sweetness in there also. Taste is citrus hops, light tropical fruits, smooth, light sweet malts, and a nice bitter finish. Extremely smooth drinking, this is one hell of a session. How come I’ve never had this before?

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2011 Its really like a wheat IPA. It smells amazing with a real juicy hop smell with some sweetness as well. The taste is exploding with juicy hops and ending with a very nice citrus and pine bitter finish that really makes this quite an amazing IPA. The wheat is also detectable in the end that finishes with the hop bitter finish but the hops kind of rule in this one. You can’t taste the alcohol at all its masked so well by the sweetness from the wheat malts and hops. Great beer
