Tap at Goodnight Irene’s in Wildwood NJ. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium creamy white head that laced. Aroma of American hops...great floral, orange, light grapfruit notes and lemon coming through. Malt sweetness with a touch of caramel and Cheerios is there in the nose. Flavor of the same fresh American hops. Orange, floral and very light pine. Wheat and cereal grains coming through on the malt side. Hop flavor is strong...bitterness is there but nit overpowering at all.

Bottle. Poured golden-orange with a thin but standing head of solid foam. The aroma is of fresh-cut citrus, floral and sweet. It drinks with a distinct American hoppiness, but seems based in a light American wheat underneath. This is 7.3%!? Holy cow. That’s kinda dangerous in such a "light" (in body) beer -- nice summer alternative for the uber-hopheads who don’t want to down an IIPA on the beach. (#3604, 13 July 2009)

bottle- wow- another one from laguinitas that does not disappoint- very similar in profile to the hop stoopid- great pine, mango, tangerine citrus flavors overwhelm, balanced by a nice substantial malt body- extremely drinkable.

Bitter like an IPA should be: full of nice piney, grapefruity and aspirin notes. Sweet like a MW IPA - sweeter than your usual. Pours copper with thin head. Finish is sweet.

Draft pint @ RnH.Pours a hazed, orange-gold with off-white head atop. wheat, citrus and pine hops blended together to make one hell of a nose. wheat flavors with fresh hop taste of flowers, citrus fruits and pine. Medium-bodied. Best consumed slowly as a sipper. My favorite laguinitas by far.

Poured from a bottle into a... Plastic cup. Sacrilege, I know. But this is a great beer. Lighter than I expected, an aroma of fruit and pine. Tastes like a great IPA should. A great beer for sipping.

Translucent straw-orange body, thin tight clumping head. Bright, rindy citrus nose with sugared grapefruit and pine. Sweet, bitter, and potent. The body has nice bite, dominated by citrus and pine, with light biscuity malts (nothing syrupy) and a big bitter finish. A power-packed, tasty IPA.

Appearance: Pours a lightly hazed, orange-gold body sporting a full inch of off-white foam. Light lacing on the descent. Smell: A nose smelling of wheat fused with some fine hop notes, an aromatic blend of citrusy lemon and grapefruit, some floral orange blossoms, and a small hint of pine. Taste: Lightly sweet, crisp, plainly crackery malted barley and wheat flavor in the fore. Fairly bold hop tastes of flowers, dried herbs, citrus fruits and even some pine. Moderately bitter. Small touch of alcohol in the mix. Finishes dry with a sparse amount of lingering bitterness. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: To be honest, this one quietly slipped in under the radar as I hadn’t heard so much as a peep about it before coming across it at the Brick Store Pub recently. A pleasant surprise and a pleasant combination of wheat and India Pale Ale qualities. Nice job, Lagunitas.
