Hoppy flowery fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel indeed. The flavour is fresh and hoppy with flowers, fruits, a pleasant dry bitterness and some pine. Tasty brew indeed. oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland

Aroma is bigtime fruityness along with some flowery notes as well as grass. Also some earthyness. Flavour is much the same along with some mild alcoholic notes. Very wellbalanced and nice IPA. nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA

The appearance is amber gold with a foamy head. The flavor is just like the aroma. The palate is smooth. Overall a good beer. dge (1), Georgia, USA does not count | 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 7, 2009 Had to taste this given the name alone - turns out it brought a smile to my face as I savored the contents. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 7, 2009 Pours a honey orange with a decent head. Lots of hops on the nose - way more than I expected in what claims to be a wheat beer - slightly earthy, but mostly just nice and crisp citrus hops. Ooooh - this might be one of my new favorite "I don’t want anything crazy" brews - hop-forward, with a bit of a bite to the bitterness up front, then smoothing things over with the lightly toasted grain / wheat notes, and finishing with a citrus zing. Perfectly refreshing after a day’s work - exactly what I wanted. madvike (325), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 7, 2009 Bottle - Clear, light amber pour with a small white head. It’s potent on the nose, with a lovely blend of pine hops, citrus, and some honey. There’s lots of hops flavor--big surprise, I know--with with a decent amount of malt to back it up. Love the citrus hop flavor. It’s medium-bodied and pretty dry, just a nice overall brew. I tend to overlook Lagunitas sometimes because they’re so cheap...is that messed up or what? I need to sample more of their stuff. JaBier (1212), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 7, 2009 Sampled as a bonus beer at the Sierra Nevada tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 7/2/09. Clear copper pour with a big off-white head. Aroma is a ton of grapefruity hops and a bit of sweet malt. Hop flavor is grapefruity and spicy with a nice malt balance. Pretty straightforward, but I’m not complaining. Lagunitas continues to impress. gsmitty80 (638), Washington DC, USA
