Aroma of sweet caramel, citrus hops all over this thing. Tast lots of sweetness tons of citrus hops. Very nice. Thick malt and more of the great hops. For the price this brew has to be one of the best. TheEpeeist (1446), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Jul 5, 2009 This isn’t really beer. It is, in fact, carbonated grapefruit juice. I have confirmed this with the brewery. It smells like grapefruit juice, tastes like grapefruit juice and best of all? You can chug it. In all seriousness, this stuff is really really good. I really don’t love Grapefruit juice, but I do love me some sumpin’ sumpin’. Lagunitas could very well be my favorite brewer. blipp (1664), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Draft at Coles in Buffalo. Pours bright orange with a thin head. Huge sweet grapefruit and orange citrus hop aroma. The flavor isn’t quite as impressive as the aroma, and I actually found it to be surprisingly well balanced. A quasi hop bomb that doesn’t come across as too intense in its bitterness. Notes of grapefruits and other citrus fruits, and a hint of pine. The finish is on the short side. Very good. stchloe (482), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Very very interesting, started and looked like a nice pale ale, but then it was just a little bitter at the end, and malty throughout. Whoo at what buzz, it is a little sumpin for for a good night. juiceisloose (671), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2009 Pours a dark copper orange color with a foamy white head that leaves nice rings of lacing in the glass. The aroma shows fresh oranges and grapefruit citrus with a caramel malt backbone to round things out. The flavor follows with the fresh citrus and piney hops up front. The orange and grapefruit really stand out, and the malts add more sweetness and smooth over the bitterness. Really nice sweet, citrus flavor in this one. Medium bodied with good carbonation with a nice bitter finish. Really nice drinking ipa. matt7215 (965), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 3, 2009 on tap @ coles. pours light copper with a white head. big hoppy aroma. flavour is full of hops with minimal malt structure. dry, bitter finish. borderline IIPA here in term of IBU delivery, all its lacking is more malt structure. as is a very nice IPA. j12601 (1258), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a medium to large barely off white head. Loads of sweet pine and citrus hops, just a touch of pineapple. Sweet and spicy hops hit right up front, but then fade off slightly fading into a more mellow tangerine note in the middle. Finishes with a tangy grapefruit bitterness that begins subtly and lingers for quite a while. Alcohol sticks out a little bit, but fairly well hidden throughout.
