Bottle. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Floral aroma with some pine also, the pine really increased as the beer opened up. Flavor is pure hops, but not overdone. Just a little malt sweetness lurking, but the hops are the show. Good bitterness, but the bitterness isn’t the story here. The hops are very well balanced throughout, the combination of aroma, bitterness, resinous sticky mouthfeel, and dry lingering hop finish is extremely well done. This is a summer beer for hopheads.

Bottle. Golden body with a good sized white head that fades into a thin layer and leaves a little lacing. A big fruity aroma with some caramel and piney hops. Flavor is malty sweet and bitter, citric hops. There’s a funky finishing flavor that I can’t place that I’m not sure I really enjoy. Sticky mouthfeel. I’d give it another shot.

Bright, sweet, super fruity aroma with some vanilla, caramel and light vinegar. Fair label, bright citrine gold. Sweet, honeyish, cakey, hoppy. Medium-heavy body, boozy on the lips. Interesting and good. Long hoppy finish, with more lady finger cake flavors.

Lots of chocolate malts, lots of heavy malts and hops that give the beer perfume and elegance and some fruitiness that is defied by the smokiness and sugar that make this a litttle sumpin sumpin different.

On tap at stone. Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Caramel grapefruit and pine aroma and taste with a bitter sticky mouth feel.
