I am definitely not a hop head, preferring more balance in my brews, but the particularly floral characteristics of this ale’s hoppiness intrigues even me. As opposed to smells of boiled pine cones and grapefruit rinds, the aromas presented here really come across as fresh hop flowers. I find the flavors a bit overdone on the bitterness side of things so this isn’t a beer that I’d always want to have on hand, but when I get an itch for hops this one scratches it.

Aroma of pine, citrus, hoppy, taste is more citrus forward followed by piney, resinous hops, a pretty good IPA.

Tap into a shaker showing darker shades of golden honey bordering into a light caramel.
The nose shows very generous and moderately intense notes of fresh and clean peaches, mango, and hints of other tropical fruits.
The palate shows much of the same notes as on the nose. Very full bodied with balanced carbonation. Clear hints of steel tank in between but still very fruit forward and great at a moderate chill but not fully cold (flavors are too good to be numbed out at an ice cold temp). Good strong shocking/electric notes of citrus zest on the palate also gives a slight zing/spice to an already interesting and tasty IPA. Have to admit, this is on the borderline to greatness as it just needs slightly more of those fruit flavors to make it extraordinary.

What is the secret to this delicious beer?? This baby is crisp and easy to drink, with just the right bite at the end. Golden Red color, pleasant aroma, pours with nice head. Fairy strong alcohol punch. Everyone loves when they taste a Little Sumpin’.

라구니타스 브루어리-어 리틀 섬핀 에일 7.5% ABV 짧게 스치고 가는 위트있는 향, 들이켜기 편안한 7.5 도의 맥주. 향기롭지만 가시가 있다.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Jaune pale avec une moyenne robe blanche. L’arôme d’houblon du pin et herbe. Le goût est pareille, et assez sec en bouche. Une bonne amertume qui est bien équilibré.

12 oz pour from refrigerated bottle into Spiegelau IPA glass. Pours a hazy gold with a giant fluffy white head. Good carbonation. Nose is malts, flowers, and grass. Mouthfeel is medium-to-creamy. Taste is subtle and bitter-sweet citrus with a solid biscuity malt backbone. A little lime and maybe a hint of pineapple
