Van de tap bij tab homeland. Goudoranje met ene witte kraag. Beetje limoen en vooral bitter, neigt richting paracetamol. Mis een zoetje dat je van de tarwemout zou verwachten

Clear yellow appearance with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have touches of floral and skunky hops. Fairly light and wheaty.

From tap at Amsterdam Beer Fair 2016. Aroma is piny hops, good pine resin, tropical fruits, grapefruit, malt, stone fruits with some peacy notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above medium bitter with a bittersweet finish. Body is medium. Very hoppy and bittersweet with a malty backbone, rich stuff, very good IPA.

Draft pour pint at Special Brews, featured at Lagunitas brewers night. Early on in my introduction to beer, I hated this. Hated it. 6 years later, I hadnít tried it again once. This should be fun. Golden pour. Harshly metallic in aroma and flavor. An odd wheat with a saviour fruitiness to cover. Has a small heat to it in the end, expressing a stronger beer, though seven fifty is plenty strong for a wheat. Hated it back then. Honestly dont like it now. Has some decent qualities. Just not for me. Very glad I retried this though. Give me another 5 years and Iíll give it another go.

Out of the bottle boured a medium copper, fitered clear, with a white frothy persistent head. Immediately hit with fruity hops evoking notes of pineapple, mango and peach, also resinous pine, and a relatively moderate caramel malt backbone. On the palate more fruit replays with peach perceived more as sweet canned peaches. Pleasnt lingering hop bitterness balanced with the malt. Rich and refreshing.

12 ounce bottle from Badger Spirits in Janesville, WI, consumed just out of the fridge from a pint glass. Lovely frothy head with thick lace topping an extremely clear pale amber-gold body...nose dominated by grapefruit, a bit of orange and peach, fairly sweet....body moderately to strongly sweet, juicy hops and fruit character throughout though the hop attack doesnít really build that much...somewhat syrupy mouthfeel but just enough carbonation to keep it from being fatiguing. I drank a ton of this stuff from around 2009-13 while living in my last apartment in Burlington. Alone, jobless, friendless, sometimes going for 3-4 days without any communication with anyone, and not even on the internet much, itís the darkest period of a dark life; not the Lost Years but the Most Lost Years (So Far). I guess Iím in a bleak moment right now too - just an emotional dip really, nothing terrible - and looking back at that period with understanding if not fondness. At the very least I got to do what I wanted all day within the limits of very little money - and part of that monetary limitation meant little beer tasting, just getting whatever was on sale and palatable at the local convenience store. This and Long Trailís unfiltered IPA were probably my top 2 picks that were available year-round, and while this doesnít really hold up now that Iím being "critical" once again, I still have some fondness, and it gets an extra overall point for the memories, depressing as they are; it made them ever so slightly less so.

Jeez I even bring myself down. Onward and upward then.

2 finger head is very rocky with great retention.. very clear lite orange golden brew. The nose is immediate and surprisingly pungent hoppy.. citric hoppiness with a great pale malt backbone.. Bitter bite out of the gate with pale malts that melt quickly into an unapologetic citric hoppiness.. some floral hoppiness and minor pine come into play.
