Draft @ Solano Beach: Great that they have it on tap at the Pizza Port in Solano Beach. Fresh, herbal, citrus, very well balanced and great to go with the excellent pizza. Would have loved a pitcher but there where more things on the menu....

A nice ale with a decent hopprofile. Doesn’t really stand out in any way, but wellbrewed, green and very drinkable!

Best summer beer of ’09 for this guy, too bad the only place that carried it will not be getting any more. Hazy gold color, quarter inch thick white head and heavy lacing man. Fresh citrus hops with soft evergreen aroma. Biscuits and white bread are evident. Dry, hoppy, fresh and easy to put back. A burst of fresh floral hoppy goodness packing plenty of citrus and pine. Biscuits, nuts and dry wheat. Mmm Mmm Good.

Really IPA? I should have bought a case of this. Oh well. Aroma reminds me of the stoopid, like hop extract. Clean gold with a sticky springy white head. Fairly sweet and sticky, reminds me of the correction ale. Don’t get much in the way of wheat, but plenty of soft hops in the finish, gentle and sustained.

Orange gold pour with a big, fluffy, white head. The aroma is dried apricot, mango, honey, grapefruit, orange and milk caramel. The flavor has loads more sweet apricot and mango with some bready caramel malt body fading to bitter grapefruit and orange. This is a touch cloying but has a really nice bright citrus hop profile. The body is velvety with soft, plentiful carbonation. I really like the flavor of this one. Much more fruity and distinct than all of Lagunitas’ other beers.

Bottle. Pours golden coloured with a nice egg white head. Very fresh and fruit aroma with notes of lemons, grapefruit, pale malt and pine. Flavours of lemons, grass, resin, light malt and grapefruit. Very drinkable brew. A bit simple - and that’s meant in a good way.

Bonus from trade, sorry I dont recall who sent it. Either way BIG THANKS! Hazy orange pour with a fluffy off white head. Grapefruit and pine on the nose. Resinous flavor similar to the aroma. Solid IPA and I swear this is what the standard iPA used to be like.

I swear that this company has a dozen big sweet IPA’s like this one, and I have enjoyed every one of them that I have had.......Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a bright orange-amber color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was strong with sweet grapefruit and pine. The flavor was strongly bitter, tangy and tart with solid presentations of grapefruit, pineapple and resin and supported well by a thick sweet malty base. The finish was long, sour, tart and fruity. Very good.
