The aroma is citrus hops and sweet malt. The flavor is the same, the flavors are extremely well balanced, particularly the hops and fruit flavor. Great IPA. 1FastSTi (2557), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Enjoyed this one. Light brown pour. Spicy hop nose with citrus hops too. Flavor is well integrated hops and malts....citrus, pineapple, pine and a good carbonation made me with it wasn’t over. presario (2959), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2009 6-pack in Calgary. Lasting head on dark amber. Spicy woody pine and citrus hop nose. First impressions: Light body. Strong malt. Long finish. Second impression it some how seems a cross between a summer ale and an IPA. Beer seems to evaporate off the tongue before you can describe what you are tasting. Hold it in your mouth and you get hops folowed by citrus hops and apricot. Just hops and an alcohol whiff left behind. Something about it seems a little lacking. I can’t quite palce it. Will have to drink the other 5 for R&D. Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow-orange-brown color with a small, slightly foamy off-white head. Citrus hops, leather, bread, and oranges in the nose. Medium-low carbonation with a medium, slightly dry mouthfeel. Sweet citrus, pineapple, and a bit of earth on the palate. I can feel the alcohol lurking in this one. Medium, bitter finish. A bit on the sweet and tropical side, but still a very good brew. JoeMcPhee (5000), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 20, 2009 Tap at Rattle N Hum. Pale golden with a thin white head. The aroma is lovely. Citrusy and piny with a bit of light honeyed sweetness. Lots of bright grapefruit and pine as well as a light sweetness. It’s quite similar to their regular IPA, but that’s hardly a bad thing either. Light resiny spiciness.
