Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint. Appearance: Just barely hazy orangish-gold with frothy white head and pretty good lacing. Aroma: Tart and sweet grapefruit and tangerine, as well as some spicy pine. Smells like Lagunitas, but milder. Taste: Sharp citrus (grapefruit, orange), spice, pepper and fresh cut grass overpower the light dry wheat malts. Ends with a light wave of bitterness and spiciness. Great balance. Palate: Moderate carbonation, creamy body with a pretty dry finish. Slightly warming. Overall: Wheat IPA. Not too surprising coming from Lagunitas. Flavorful, complex and refreshing.

Bottle from Central Market. This beer pours a clear golden honey color with a bit of carbonation that forms a decent white head atop the liquid.

"Ooo" was the first thing I said as I smelled it. It has a wonderfully hoppy aroma that is sappy sweet with nice fruit tones. Smells very nice.

Flavor is hoppy sweet, with dry notes, sap and earthy spice. It finishes with a lovely floral characteristic that wasnít apparent in the aroma. This is good stuff!

Growler from 9th Ave Vintner shared w Streets Andy Erica as we pregame for Hurricane Irene. Big, soft, white head on top of a glossy gold pour. Malts and vinegar on the nose, light sweet fruits on the tongue. Creamy with a tart aftertaste. Not intense, but intriguing.
