3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours light orange with a small white head that leaves no lacing. Aromas of grapefruit and pine. Flavors of citrus (mainly grapefruit and orange) balanced by a nice malty sweetness. Pretty bitter with a dry finish. Solid but doesnít have the robustness of a top IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught at Lagunitas Brewery.
Oily dark gold with lace and a shiny orange tint. Fruity nose with orange. Sweet orange and tropical fruit flavor, very sweet overall. Thick, oily palate. Decent, with a nice fruitiness.

A really nice IPA, although personally I prefer a bit more hoppyness than this has to offer. Still tasty!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A really good clean and refreshing IPA. A lot of hops in the aroma and in the flavor with a great malt sweetness to balance. Extremely easy to drink and the alcohol is masked and complimented well. A great beer.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
This brew has such a nice character. Seperate from the classic Lagunitas IPA, besides containing more alcohol, this delicious ale gives a lighter, more citrus feeling to the palate. Very hoppy and strong with a unique bite, pay close attention to the aftertaste. one of my favorite beers.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Glorious IPA. Pours a hazy deep orange-gold with a thin white head. nose heavy with caramel, orange, and pine. Flavor is spicy with loads of hops, citrus, and caramel. light brown sugar and doughiness give it a nice chewy mouthfeel. long, bitter aftertaste that gets drier as it sits. Let it warm up a little before drinking it if itís in your fridge.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Thanks to spinrsx for this. Pours a fairly clear golden yellow with a thinning white top. Aroma is spicy piney hops with some honey. Taste is a quick bite of pine hops with a sweet ending of malt and yeah, more hops.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle. Clear, golden pour with a 1/2" white head that left little in the way of lace. Citrus hop aroma with scents of lush tropical fruits with a backing of wheat and sweet malt. Flavor follows the aroma with an interesting mix of citrus and wheat. Moderate in body with good carbonation. Very nice brew. I will seek this out again.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Lagunitas A Little Sumpiní Sumpiní Ale is a clear, pale golden ale with a thin, dense white head that leave very nice lacing on the glass. The bold, hoppy aroma has notes of lemon, spruce, wintergreen... maybe berries and apple. It smells great! It has a full, fluffy mouthfeel that lightens up a lot at the finish and leaves the mouth very dry. It tastes quite a bit like the aroma, but decidedly more piny. The hops are the focus here and itís pretty bitter. The malt is resiny and peppery. A pine resin bitterness lingers for a while after the taste. Itís a bold and tasty beer. This is what I expect from Lagunitas.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Nonic Imperial Pint.
Appearance: Just barely hazy orangish-gold with frothy white head and pretty good lacing.
Aroma: Tart and sweet grapefruit and tangerine, as well as some spicy pine. Smells like Lagunitas, but milder.
Taste: Sharp citrus (grapefruit, orange), spice, pepper and fresh cut grass overpower the light dry wheat malts. Ends with a light wave of bitterness and spiciness. Great balance.
Palate: Moderate carbonation, creamy body with a pretty dry finish. Slightly warming.
Overall: Wheat IPA. Not too surprising coming from Lagunitas. Flavorful, complex and refreshing.
