Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpin’ sumpin’ we all need to kick Summer into full swing! Ingredients: Hops, Malt, Hops, Hops, Yeast, Hops, Water, and Hops.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2011 Bottle @ Craig Garvies. Strong spicy hoppy aroma. Golden yellow colour, not much head. Woody lemon hoppy flavour. Quite smooth with lingering citrus aftertaste. Not bad.

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2012 In bottle. Pours a light golden colour with a lacy white head. Lovely passion fruit, grapefruit and yeast notes. Alcohol quite present. Similar flavours with chewy caramel, yeast and barley. Nice dry finish (8,4,7,4 16). Also had this on keg at the BrewDog Bar. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of pine, pineapple and caramel. Similar hoppy flavours upfront with plenty of passion fruit and some pineapple with a chewy caramel malt backbone. Moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel. Mildly bitter with lingering tangerines. Quite a dry finish. Nice and citrusy.

12oz bottle, rated in the notebook last night. Almost clear yellow color, thin persistent white head. Nice webby rings of lacing. ABV listed as 7.5%. Really nice, sweet resiny taste, but it’s not too thick - some sweet-citrus fruits in there. Some spice. Very light bitterness, light to moderate crisp carbonation. Mildly dry finish. All this makes for a very drinkable 7.5% IPA.

Pours hazy gold with 2 finger head and good retention. Aroma is green, juicy, citrusy hops with toasted honey malt backbone. Taste is candy-like resin, honey, then a balanced finish of grapefruit and sweet toasted malt. Body is medium-full, delightfully frothy, slightly sticky mouthfeel that finishes dry and slightly bitter. Overall, a classic west coast IPA that delivers the signature Lagunitas hop profile.

Pours a cloudy orange with a thin white head. Nose is nice and citrus, notes of guava, papaya, other tropical fruits. Flavor is more citrus, tropical fruits, lightly malty. Drinks good with the alcohol not very noticeable. Tasty.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with orange hue. Thin white head. Nose of grassy hops, citrus, and some grainy notes. Smells and tastes refreshing. Light, sorta thin palate. Good beer and great price.

Bottle. 7.5% ABV per the label. Pours a lasting white head, with extensive lacing, over a slightly hazy, gold (SRM 5) body....nose is pine, citrus, toffee/caramel, hint of licorice....taste is strongly bitter to start, then sweet citrus, pine, toffee/caramel arrive, along with the barest hint of pineapple, finishing with a lightly floral, licorice tinged, lingering, moderately sweet bitterness....mouth feel medium, slightly sticky, carbonation low. This fits well into the IPA style. The hops do not have the floral refinement often found in the best of this style, and additionally, are definitely more "West Coast" than many. Finally it is a bit low in complexity in both the malt and hop back bones. It should be sweet with a calculated F.G. of 1.019. BJCP 8/3/13/4/7

Appearance is pale and a little cloudy. Aroma, however, cannot be beaten. It is all grapefruit and delicious. One of my favorite beers, recommended by chance at Binny’s. So good. I am in love with this. A little bit of grassy, but almost all citrus. Wow. Sex in a bottle. As reflected by the label.
