12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a nearly clear medium cold with a rock solid one finger white head. Really amazing head retention and strong lacing cleaning to the sides of the glass. Aroma is packed full of tropical fruit. Tangerine and pineapple along with cut grass. A little bit of bready malt is buried underneath but the citrus hops totally dominate. Flavor is a hop wallop from the get go. Very juicy and heavy on pineapple, mango, and orange. Some cut grass sneaks in but takes a back seat to the tropical fruit. Bitterness is moderate to high and is long lasting. There is some sweetness here but it is nicely balanced by the bitterness. Not much malt flavor, maybe some bread, with a nice soft wheat mouthfeel. Overall, a really good beer and probably my favorite so far from Lagunitas. Awesome example of the style and dangerously drinkable with the 7.5% completely hidden. One to pick up whenever possible.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2016 Strong citrusy, floral, lemon hop aroma. Pours yellow but very clear with a big frothy white head. Flavor is pretty dry, just a light sweetness from the malt which is a bit wheaty. Hops dominate in flavor. Crisp. Well carbed.

A boire.

Draft 0.15l at Beer Temple Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 17.07.2016. Last farewell tasting for cika Jan. Taste with Zlotta and Potjebier. Pour it clear golden color with small white head. Aroma fruity and floral. Taste sweet fruity, pretty much spice in the middle, nice easy drinkable IPA, light body, creamy, fizzy, astringent. OK

From tap at Amsterdam Beer Fair 2016. Aroma is piny hops, good pine resin, tropical fruits, grapefruit, malt, stone fruits with some peacy notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above medium bitter with a bittersweet finish. Body is medium. Very hoppy and bittersweet with a malty backbone, rich stuff, very good IPA.
