12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a nearly clear medium cold with a rock solid one finger white head. Really amazing head retention and strong lacing cleaning to the sides of the glass. Aroma is packed full of tropical fruit. Tangerine and pineapple along with cut grass. A little bit of bready malt is buried underneath but the citrus hops totally dominate. Flavor is a hop wallop from the get go. Very juicy and heavy on pineapple, mango, and orange. Some cut grass sneaks in but takes a back seat to the tropical fruit. Bitterness is moderate to high and is long lasting. There is some sweetness here but it is nicely balanced by the bitterness. Not much malt flavor, maybe some bread, with a nice soft wheat mouthfeel. Overall, a really good beer and probably my favorite so far from Lagunitas. Awesome example of the style and dangerously drinkable with the 7.5% completely hidden. One to pick up whenever possible.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear, golden yellow with a white, one finger head that leaves mild lacing. Aroma is bright with big notes of pine, resin, citrus, pineapple, mango, and other tropical fruits. Yum. Taste is bitter but balanced. Pine and resin with a touch of earthiness, a hint of spice from the hops, and a drawn out finish. Medium body and carbonation. Slight resin mouth feel with a dry finish. Overall tasty aroma is bigger than the taste but the taste ainít bad!

On draft at Ledo. Pours a clear golden color with a 1/4" white head that left ample lacing on the glass. Aroma is hops, grapefruit citrus. Flavor is hop forward with citrus fruit notes. A sessionable beer with masked alcohol.

From bottle. Pretty darn good IPA. Pours a bit light for me- more golden orange than orange/ orange. Lots going on here....hits you with grapefruit, pine, malt, honey, tropical notes and flowers. All plays together nicely. Decent mouthfeel to it- somewhat slick. Medium carbonation. Bitterness comes through but overall comes across as balanced. Side by side green man Wayfarer has more too it but manages to be smoother as well. Really solid. Ahhh, California.
