Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpiní sumpiní we all need to kick Summer into full swing! Ingredients: Hops, Malt, Hops, Hops, Yeast, Hops, Water, and Hops.

INFORMATION: 12oz bottle with no freshness date. I know that Lagunitas usually puts a code on the bottle from which you can determine what day of the year that it was brewed, but there is no such code here. This bottle is from this Springís batch, so itís pretty fresh. 64 IBUs....7.5% ABV.

APPEARANCE: Pours a pale yellow-orange color with a good two fingers worth of off-white colored head floating on top. Plenty of carbonation bubbles visible within the glass. Pretty good clarity for a wheat beer. Impressive lacing sticking to the inside of the glass with each sip.

NOSE: Orange, lemon, mango, juicy fruit gum, musk melon! This beer is fruiTy with a capital T! Behind the wall of citrus lies subtle hints of this being a wheat beer.

TASTE: Good light wheat flavor up front, but itís short lived. Fruity flavors come rushing in just as the aroma suggest. Thereís a touch of hop bitterness towards the middle, but this beer is big on the citrus, and not so much on the bitterness. The flavor of the wheat shows itself again towards the back end. Soft fruity finish begs for you to take another sip.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied with a soft carbonation.

OVERALL: The best of the best where wheat beers are concerned.

Moreyís Bottom Line: The first time that I had this, I was floored. Iíve had it several times since, and nothingís changed. If you see this, by all means....grab a six pack!

On tap. Golden color. Sweet tropical lychee and pineapple aroma, a little piney. Decidedly sweet flavor up front, leading to a medium-dry finish. A little lackluster mouthfeel, but otherwise an interesting sweet IPA.

What isnít printed on the label us that the little sumpiní sumpiní in this ale is broken promises. I expected that a beer with "hops, malt, hops, hops, yeast, hops, water, and hops" might offer a fresh, crisp, bitter taste. Instead the flavour of well water and farm air. Decent body with a thin head. An aroma of peat moss and copper. Wouldnít recommend to fans of IPAs or stouts. Maybe fans of expensive disappointments?

Sampled at Tap Zuid, Amsterdam. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is nicely hoppy, a bit sweet hops. Taste malts, hops, sweetish and light citrussy hops, fruit hoppy with a slight bitter finish. Decent body and carbonation. Nice.

1/2 at Euston tap. Pours honey colour with almost no head. Pine and mango nose. The taste is a little soft and sweet for me. The bitterness and hops initially tasted a bit pike washing up liquid, but it settles down to an OK balance of sweet and bitter. Itís nothing special for a DIPA to he frank. Had this on draught at the Chicago brewery last year and it had way more to it. Either it doesnít travel or the Heineken effect wallpaper s showing.

Out of a bottle, smells and taste like the Uncensored copper ale. Not a lot of difference here. Not especially hoppy. i dunno
