INFORMATION: 12oz bottle with no freshness date. I know that Lagunitas usually puts a code on the bottle from which you can determine what day of the year that it was brewed, but there is no such code here. This bottle is from this Springís batch, so itís pretty fresh. 64 IBUs....7.5% ABV.

APPEARANCE: Pours a pale yellow-orange color with a good two fingers worth of off-white colored head floating on top. Plenty of carbonation bubbles visible within the glass. Pretty good clarity for a wheat beer. Impressive lacing sticking to the inside of the glass with each sip.

NOSE: Orange, lemon, mango, juicy fruit gum, musk melon! This beer is fruiTy with a capital T! Behind the wall of citrus lies subtle hints of this being a wheat beer.

TASTE: Good light wheat flavor up front, but itís short lived. Fruity flavors come rushing in just as the aroma suggest. Thereís a touch of hop bitterness towards the middle, but this beer is big on the citrus, and not so much on the bitterness. The flavor of the wheat shows itself again towards the back end. Soft fruity finish begs for you to take another sip.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied with a soft carbonation.

OVERALL: The best of the best where wheat beers are concerned.

Moreyís Bottom Line: The first time that I had this, I was floored. Iíve had it several times since, and nothingís changed. If you see this, by all means....grab a six pack!

Slight golden in colour with a white head that unfortunately does not last. Hops and slight orange citrus to the nose with a very slight malt note underlying. Hops to the front with apricot, malty, grassy flavours carrying through to the back of the palate The lingering sweetness is a little sticky however the hops help balance this. This is a style I like and i will return

Strong, pleasant nose with strong pine notes and some sweet malts. White pillowy head that laces the glass. Watery mouthful, nice carbonation. Tastes of grapefruit, pine, balanced with a nice malty slightly sweet finish.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2015 This beer smells great. It has a standard IPA golden color with a lot of head, and a medium head retention. Good IPA flavor; bitter, but not overwhelmingly. The hops provide some floral and subtle citrus notes, however it is far from the most interesting. A little to carbonated but good mouth feel.

Light golden ale with a thick, pure white head and hoppy aromas of lemon, citrus & grapefruit. Very smooth body with a slightly sour bitterness and sweet flavor. Very well made IPA!
