4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
INFORMATION: 12oz bottle with no freshness date. I know that Lagunitas usually puts a code on the bottle from which you can determine what day of the year that it was brewed, but there is no such code here. This bottle is from this Spring’s batch, so it’s pretty fresh. 64 IBUs....7.5% ABV.
APPEARANCE: Pours a pale yellow-orange color with a good two fingers worth of off-white colored head floating on top. Plenty of carbonation bubbles visible within the glass. Pretty good clarity for a wheat beer. Impressive lacing sticking to the inside of the glass with each sip.
NOSE: Orange, lemon, mango, juicy fruit gum, musk melon! This beer is fruiTy with a capital T! Behind the wall of citrus lies subtle hints of this being a wheat beer.
TASTE: Good light wheat flavor up front, but it’s short lived. Fruity flavors come rushing in just as the aroma suggest. There’s a touch of hop bitterness towards the middle, but this beer is big on the citrus, and not so much on the bitterness. The flavor of the wheat shows itself again towards the back end. Soft fruity finish begs for you to take another sip.
MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied with a soft carbonation.
OVERALL: The best of the best where wheat beers are concerned.
Morey’s Bottom Line: The first time that I had this, I was floored. I’ve had it several times since, and nothing’s changed. If you see this, by all means....grab a six pack!

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Medium orange/gold pour with a soapy white head. Nose is herbal hops, minimal citrus and malt, some pine. Mouth is really dank "weed" like flavors. Light sappy sweetness on the finish, but pretty dry overall. Nicely done, I always like that hop expression and it’s not normally found in readily available beers, probably because it fades out so quickly.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Color cobrizo limpio y espuma blanca.

(Bottle, 0.355 l, at Kitty’s, 20141213) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and malts. Flavours were fruitiness, citricness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruitiness, grapefruit and bitterness. A really nice hoppy pale ale.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at burger fi anchorage. Almost the color of orange crush, creamy white head. Aroma of spruce and lychee, tropical fruit, really nice. Taste is juicy, orange and sprucy. Palate very nice, carbonation subdued a bit, body rich, but not too thick. Reminds me of deschutes fresh squeezed a lot, maybe a bit more spruce. Finish is slightly spicy, slightly sweet, well balanced between bitter hops and sweet.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a clear gold from the bottle with a thick off white head that leaves a large amount of lacing in the glass. Aroma is citrus and malt...very sweet. Taste is bitter at first with lemon on the tongue and orange zest. Has a bitter backend. A pretty good IPA.

Bottle in SFO. Floral hoppy aroma with notes of wheat and tangerine citrus. Pours medium golden colored with a thin white head and decent lacing. Starts with smooth wheat flavors with light notes of hops. Finishes smooth with lots of tangerine citrus that lingers on the palate. Excellent wheat.
