INFORMATION: 12oz bottle with no freshness date. I know that Lagunitas usually puts a code on the bottle from which you can determine what day of the year that it was brewed, but there is no such code here. This bottle is from this Spring’s batch, so it’s pretty fresh. 64 IBUs....7.5% ABV.

APPEARANCE: Pours a pale yellow-orange color with a good two fingers worth of off-white colored head floating on top. Plenty of carbonation bubbles visible within the glass. Pretty good clarity for a wheat beer. Impressive lacing sticking to the inside of the glass with each sip.

NOSE: Orange, lemon, mango, juicy fruit gum, musk melon! This beer is fruiTy with a capital T! Behind the wall of citrus lies subtle hints of this being a wheat beer.

TASTE: Good light wheat flavor up front, but it’s short lived. Fruity flavors come rushing in just as the aroma suggest. There’s a touch of hop bitterness towards the middle, but this beer is big on the citrus, and not so much on the bitterness. The flavor of the wheat shows itself again towards the back end. Soft fruity finish begs for you to take another sip.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium bodied with a soft carbonation.

OVERALL: The best of the best where wheat beers are concerned.

Morey’s Bottom Line: The first time that I had this, I was floored. I’ve had it several times since, and nothing’s changed. If you see this, by all means....grab a six pack!

Jaune pale avec une moyenne robe blanche. L’arôme d’houblon du pin et herbe. Le goût est pareille, et assez sec en bouche. Une bonne amertume qui est bien équilibré.

12 oz pour from refrigerated bottle into Spiegelau IPA glass. Pours a hazy gold with a giant fluffy white head. Good carbonation. Nose is malts, flowers, and grass. Mouthfeel is medium-to-creamy. Taste is subtle and bitter-sweet citrus with a solid biscuity malt backbone. A little lime and maybe a hint of pineapple

Deep gold, slightly hazy with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, pine and citrus. Bitter flavor, well balanced with a nice citrus finish. Good one.

Real nice IPA. Light gold pour with lacing white head. Evident hops on the nose. Refreshing, crisp, sweet, citrusy. Really does taste like summer. Nice bitterness. Well balanced.

Poured from a bottle, one-finger of head (that's what SHE said). First thing that hit me was the aroma, which I've only experience in Hopslam (at $19 per sixer). The 7.5 ABV is discreetly hidden under the perfect blend of hops and malt. I was expecting more "hoppy" bite, based on other ratings, but this finishes easier (no bitterness). Grapefruit, lime, honey, nutty flavors. First bottle lasted 4 gulps. I'm ashamed of myself. Good thing I've got 5 more :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
