Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpin’ sumpin’ we all need to kick Summer into full swing! Ingredients: Hops, Malt, Hops, Hops, Yeast, Hops, Water, and Hops.

Clear orange/yellow color. Decent white head with some retention. Aroma of citrus and peaches with similar taste. Moderate bitterness and some sweetness. Not bad if you like a somewhat fruity taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Just a fantastic little beer. Pours absolutely crystal clear, medium gold, with a generous, slightly uneven platinum blonde head. Enormous piney nose just slaps you in the face when you life the glass. God, a fresh Lagunitas ipa (of any stripe) is a world apart from what you drink a few weeks later. Hard to believe this one is 60% wheat, but no matter. Crisp, clean, dry, fully attenuated body. Certainly the opposite of most any Lagunitas beer you’ve had. Summer session beer extraordinaire. The mid-palate shows a tidy dryness underneath a crisp piney hop bill. No sweetness intrudes from the wheat or any technical choice they made on brew day.

Nice and hoppy my kind of IPA...crucial to keep to bitterness with the aroma hops prominent. My kind of IPA!

Appearance: pours with a very large beige head that takes a while to pour down, the beer is a very clear average golden color, very nice head retention Aroma: strong grass, citrus, pine, smells good, could be a bit more strong aroma Taste: light grain initially that is immediately swallowed in bitterness, citrus, alcohol Palate: bitter aftertaste, average carbonation, medium mouthfeel Overall: this is a great beer, the bitterness is definitely there but lots of flavors from the hops are there too, hides the abv OK but not great

Interesting IPA. Not overly hoppy or bitter in my opinion. Instead grassy and sweet.

Bottle. Gold straw colour, just a mild haze. Couple of fingers of head. Lots of citrus in the aroma, grapefruit, lots of hops as well. Taste has lots of grapefruit and pine hopping. Nice dry bitter finish. Excellent.

Got this off recommendations. Was unsure what to expect. Impessed with the overall finish of the beer. It had the citrusry and piney flavors I expected. Hops were even and will definitely pour this one again.

Bottle at Beer Hunters. Clear golden color, small steady white head. Citrus and fruits in the nose. Medium-bodied. Gooseberry, citrus hoppy flavor. Clean palate with kick of alcohol. Wheat gives some smoothness. Nice.

12 oz bottle from Fred Meyer in Hillsboro, OR. Aroma is citrusy and a bit grassy, with hints of tropical fruits. Mouthfeel and taste is crisp and sweet throughout, with a short, bitter aftertaste. I liked the malt/hop balance. I didn’t like the citrusy hoppiness as much as some of the Lagunitas beers with piney aromas. But still a great beer.

Poured from a 12. Color is a reddish amber. Aroma is very strong with the fresh pine, almost a floral bouquet with fresh pine cones. Flavor is hoppy, somewhat wheaty, and delicious. Has a great easy drinking beer flavor.

Had this on tap at "A Terrible Beauty" on Lake Union in North Seattle. Really good balanced ale. Not too hoppy like the current trendy beers that are double and triple hopped, but still full of aroma. Smooth, crisp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
