Itís ok but nothing remarkable. Tired it bottled and the first one not in a glass. Picked it up in a build your own in KC when it showed up on the fall beer list.

Pours clear gold with a big white head. Aroma and taste are heavy on the grapefruit with floral and fruity notes.

Sampled on draught at the Marriott at Anaheim Convention Centre. Very good new bar which serves 24 different Craft Beers on draught. I say!!! Heaven or what! This beer is a rich deep yellow colour. The taste and aroma make an immediate impact. Very upfront flavours of a rich maltiness, plus a wheat and citrus edge. The taste is complex, and the best comparison for the citrus flavours is an English cake ingredient called mixed peel - the peel of oranges, lemons, limes and grapefruit. Deep and varied, this flavoursome beer is one to be appreciated slowly and carefully. A superb IPA,

Clear golden color with foamy white head . Citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Grassy malty start followed by citrus and mango and finishing with grapefruit. As always, a solid brew from Lagunitas.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tumbler on 01.11.14. A: Very see through yellow. 3 finger head that retains well. Awesome looking. S: Lots of grapefruit. Very citrusy. T: Grapefruit, wheat. Some malt. M: Creamy smooth thanks in part to the wheat. O: This blew my socks off. Itís definitely a West Coast, hop forward APA/APWA/IPA, or however people want to categorize it. It has a very nice grapefruit sweetness that comes on first, followed with a slightly bitter wash that then fades into citrusy sweetness again. The alcohol is also completely hidden and it does go down easily. This is an outstanding beer and one of my favorites.

Poured from a bottle it is a golden color with a slight head. The aroma is pineapple and the taste is a bittersweet flavor tgat resonates with pineapple overtones. Really nice

Pours a clear golden color with a big and bubbly white head. Iím sitting a little over a foot away and I can smell the hops from here! Aroma is that of of your typical American IPAís, which is kind of sad because I was expecting a big-time fresh hop aroma based on what I initially smelled. Malts, hops, grain, a little clove, yeast are all present. Itís actually a pleasant surprise. Carbonated oily mouthfeel. Flavor is a little on the sweeter side. I can taste malts, citrus, hops, yeast, earthiness, and more hops. Leaves a sweeter hop finish. Excellent.

The aroma from this golden liquid is slight bready malts with light floral hops. The taste brings out that Lagunitas profile that we all (?) have learned to love more than anything, and in this one it mixes well with a slight earthy tone together with the sweetness from solid malts and light hops. Smooth and fresh in the aftertaste

Bottle.A: Dark semi-clear gold with bubbles throughout. Lacing.N: Pineapple, grapefruit, cracker, some tangerine juice, undercurrent of pine and earth. Green apple, touch of onion and weed.T: Good bitterness, light sweetness. M: Medium body, creamy carbonation, buzz of alcohol. O: Fine IPA. I prefer little Sumpin? Extra and Sucks, but this will do in a pinch.

Pale, medium head retention, citrusy aroma and flavor, some pine, lightly fruity, some papaya. A well balanced IPA. One of the best.
