Way smooth and silky with a nice wheaty-esque-ish-ness. Just the little sumpiní sumpiní we all need to kick Summer into full swing! Ingredients: Hops, Malt, Hops, Hops, Yeast, Hops, Water, and Hops.

Enjoyed on draft at Wild Monk. Served in a Stone IPA shaker pint. A: Pours a clear golden yellow color with a nice one finger height of pure white head forming on the pour. It recedes slowly to a thick cap and collar that leaves some nice sheets of lace down the glass. S: Juicy citrus on the nose. some candied orange and definite tangerine. Sweet wheaty malts are present on the back end as well. T: Nicely hopped just like the nose. Burst of citrus fruits and tree fruits with a little bit of lingering herbal bitterness to give it another depth of flavor. There is a nice cracked wheat and sweet malt body to the beer as well. M: Medium to light bodied with a nice medium high carbonation level. The finish is creamy and sweet with a tinge of bitterness. O: Iím very impressed by this beer. Great citrus hop presence with a sweet malt and wheat body. I will definitely revisit in the future. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 09-29-2012

Hazy orange with long lasting beige head. Grassy floral bitter. Had it after few Founders ales so I might need to re-rate later ;)

12oz bottle - Aroma - grapefruit and pineapples in the aroma in copious amounts. Apparance - clear golden body, tight 1" white head, minimal retention. Flavor - a nice showing of citrusy hops, some bread and caramel...touch of cattyness too. Overall - another winner from Lagunitas.

Golden body beneath a thick fluffy head. Average lacing. Wafts of grapefruit and freshly cut grass. Citrusy floral overtones blanket a crisp aftertaste of pine. Tasty and smooth for days.

Pours golden straw, thin white head and minimal lacing. Smells like grassy hops, floral bouquet and honey. Very well balanced on the palate, there is an initial bitterness from the citrus (grapefruit) and grass-like hop flavours; there is an underlying popcorn tasting maltiness that is really pleasant and provides balance. It has the tiniest bit of carbonation and a sticky texture. A clean and refreshing brew.

Golden orange, thin lasting white head, light lacing. Aroma is generously hoppy, pine, floral, some caramel, alcohol. Flavour is not as hoppy as aroma led to believe, caramel sweetness, light spice. Hoppy mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes long, hoppy, warming. Itís nice but the aroma makes you believe that the flavour is going to be very hoppy, not the case.

Tasted at Willow Park Beer Bash 2014. Unfortunately, there was no time for detailed notes - and I only made it through half my list even so!

Lagunitas A Little Sumpiní Sumpiní Ale has a thick, off-white head, a clear, yellow-gold appearance, some stray bubbles, and fairly heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of strong, citrus, grapefruit, and hop resins, with background white bread. Taste is of the same elements. Bitterness is out front, but not particularly harsh or even strong. Mouthfeel is medium and a bit slick, and Lagunitas A Little Sumpiní Sumpiní Ale finishes semi-dry, easy drinking, and not at all boozy. Yes, itís excellent, but nothing that we havenít seen again and again for the last five to ten years. RJT
