Bottle. It poured a nice light to medium yellow with a slight orange hue and had an average sized (1-2 finger) white rocky head that lasted only a short while leaving behind some nice spotty residue that pretty much lasted throughout thus producing some good sticky lacing. The aroma was a tad sweet and rather hoppy with a mix of floral and citrus hops, a nice sweet grain malt and an earthy yeast with definite notes of citrus (grapefruit and tangerine) and maybe a little peach. Now the taste was unique and had a mild malty sweetness to it with a nice touch of bitterness and a strong hint of fruit initially, and pretty much had the same flavor characteristics throughout with a slightly stronger citrus hoppy presence at the end. The flavor stuck around for a decent amount of time leaving behind a nice hoppy aftertaste which lasted well after the swallow. The mouthfeel was just a bit beyond light in body and had a mild dry yet syrupy texture with a nice soft relaxing carbonation. Overall an IPA that is just a little sweeter than the norm, which was rather appealing and possessed a nice fruitiness yet still ended with the hoppiness that you get from a really good IPA.

Deep golden color with a whitish head that fades quickly with lacing. Punchy, malt and hops with grapefruit and spice. Very nice. Not too strong, very smooth and full bodied.

Bottle: Yellow-amber with a short white head. Grapefruit, minty spice aroma. Taste is citrus, wheat malt...bright floral and citrus hops. Very good.

Is this an IPA? It’s very pale, with almost no head. While the body is medium, the hops are barely noticeable. If it wasn’t clear, I would say this had wheat in it. Pleasant, but not in character,

Golden color with a thin light head. Hoppy citrus grapefruity taste. Smooth and light. My go to in warm weather. Doesn?t have a high APV bite despite being 7.5 %. Very refreshing.

Nice, crisp ale. Golden color with a thin head. Little bit too hoppy for my taste but not overpowering. Not a strong aroma definitely a hint of spice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Stunning fruit driven nose on this - big mango and citric pith with plenty of bright passion fruit. Taste is bright tropical punch bowl with floral hops and mild juicy citric tang. So clean and summer driven. More sweetness than any bitterness which works in this. Good drop

This beer is amazing. Pours a nice golden wheat color. Perfect two finger head. The aroma and taste are hops, hops and more hops! This beer has a perfect finish.

FINALLY available in Louisville, KY! 12 oz bottle poured into a snifter glass. Pours a clear orange with a one-finger white head that fade pretty quickly but leaves a fair amount of lacing. Huge hop aroma! Very fresh smelling hops at that! Smells like a freshly opened pack of hop pellets! Aroma of grapefruit, orange, pine, earthy hops, and cereal malt. Taste is pine, grapefruit, wheat, and cereal malt with hints of banana and floral hops. Long dry finish of cereal malt and wheat. Very crisp! Medium bodied with a oily texture from the hop resin and fairly high carbonation. An excellent IPA! Well worth your time and money.

Gotta love Lagunitas. Between the snarky humor and obsession with hops, this brewery routinely hits all of the right notes. Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale doesn’t disappoint. While this brew defies classification, I’m going to call it a white IPA. The wheat malt is insanely sweet and smooth while the hops are herbal and citrusy. You’re left with a crisp, refreshing beer that begs to be enjoyed in dry, hot weather.

Wholly shit balls this is good!!! The hops are melting my face!! Whole lot of malty thick chewy awesomeness here. Roasted malts thick with substance. Fresh squeezed hop juice ouzos from the bottle, pine, resin, citrus all destroy your pallet. Reminds me a lot of “SUCKS”……. Yes this is that good. Decided to crack second bottle because I drank the last one at records speeds. Oh Christ this is sooooo good. The wheaty banana kind of comes through but I might be tricking myself in to tasting that after reading some other reviews. I just read someone tasted juniper berries….. and I can’t disagree GIN IS AWSOME!!! If you can find the stuff drink the shit out of it until your face rots off!
