Nice. Belgians ain't my thing but I sure do appreciate the Belgian yeast when used the right way and this is a great example. Adds to an already quality ale and compliments it and does not become the dominating feature. Well done.

Pours deep yellow with a bit of haze and a big n fluffy white head that laces madly. Aroma is citrus, florals, candy. Taste is caramel malt into piney hops with a bitter finish. A bit thin; very dry. I've had sumpin' better.

Pours clear light amber, very thin white head. Aroma is fruity/floral hinting of Belgian heritage. Taste is smooth balanced ale, not bitter, definitely like a saison. Good.

Orange pour with a ton of sticky foamy head. Draft at beer bistro. Not quite a wild, it's like regular sumpin with a fruitier taste. Very good. Fruity hoppy and happiness

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Purchased from town earlier today. $10.99 for the pack. To over white wine glass, it pours an effervescent web color orange with which a snowy white head 1½ fingers in length stood. Aromas of cilantro, einkorn wheat, baby spinach, sorrel, stale banana bread, Belgian yeast, sawdust, American hops, marsh grass, spent grain, bubblegum, and dreid lavender. Tastes the same with the addition of sourdough, sweet basil, white rice, wet cardboard, tropical fruit, and sweat. I like that the Belgian yeast had been affectively complimented because of its powerful mysteriousness experienced at the tip of mid-palate section. This is the flavor you could almost put your finger on, but, as most cases go, it simply hadn’t been large and obnoxious enough to have remembered anything more than it being a whimsical sidenote. Barely there, and it’s nice.

Another Big Sister of the Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale…. Loads of Malted Wheat for a Curious Malt Foundation and a Light Color, But Our Belgian Yeast Leaves a Huge Flavor and Complexishness.

Bottle. Apricot in hue, with a soft haze and a sticky, soapy white top layer. Big hop character in the nose -- grass, lemon zest, flowers -- backed up by earthy honey, pear and wheat bread. The fruity Belgian yeast notes are more prominent in the flavor, but so is the pithy lemon hop character, and the follow-up of musty honey. An interesting blend, for sure. Soft, pillowy body, silky bubbles.

A lot going on in this IPA. First, it has fantastic clarity for an ale and big fluffy white head. Huge citrus in the nose, but very much a Belgian yeast flavor with wheat notes. Lagunitas always produces quality beers. Cheers!

UPDATED: JAN 5, 2015 Definitely my favorite in the Little Sumpin’ series. Beautiful pour with a cloudy pillowy head that stays around forever. Grapefruit flavors with a splash of honey
