Another Big Sister of the Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale…. Loads of Malted Wheat for a Curious Malt Foundation and a Light Color, But Our Belgian Yeast Leaves a Huge Flavor and Complexishness.

Poured by Ryan on a tour of the Lagunitas Brewery. From notes, July 30, 2012. A: Delightful floral/citrus hops. Plenty of hops in here. Sweet light malt. A: Pours a very nice deep golden color with about two fingers almost white head. T: Sweet lemon citrus notes, caramel, molasses biscuity malt backbone. Pine-y crisp finish. Very bright colors, definitely a summer brew. Even a hint of alcohol heat. Some peppery notes in there too. More pale ale than wheat. P: Clean, crisp, good carbonation and medium body, finished razor sharp. O: Nice hybrid style here; very refreshing.

Gold Color, Medium Foamy Head, Decent Lacing. Nice Fruity, Grapefruit, Pine, Hop Aroma. Sweet Malt, Pine, Grapefruit, Modest Bitter Sweet Finish. Did Not Get Any OF Belgian Yeast. More Like IPA or West Coast Pale Ale... Really Smooth Drinker. Hides High ABV Real Well. Enjoyed It. Recommended

Purchased at my local Vas Foremost in Chicago, IL; enjoyed at home after doing some song writing while having NFL Football on in the background. Appearance is a bright, slightly clear gold with a moderate white head that laces to the glass. Aroma is rich in spice, Belgian ale yeast, light bready malt, light sweetness, very nice. Taste goes down easy for a sub 9% brew, smooth consistency, light spice in the back, bit of lemon as well. Good stuff.

On tap. Murky gold. Clove and hop aroma. Similar flavor. Pretty bitter at finish.

What golden struggling with the big white head that is rocky. Orange peel nose with biscuits. Hoppy with alcohol and light citrus.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Taste belgian yeast, little hoppy, fruity. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not sure why this is classified as a belgian, but tasty all the same! I don’t know about anyone else, but i get a sort of grilled pineapple-y-ness from this up front. Finishes nicely, with a pale or ipa hoppiness. Mouthfeel is somewhat lacking, but I could drink quite a bit of this brew.

Pours an amber gold with a thick white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, heavy malt and muted hops. Taste is slightly bitter and funky, malty with slight alcohol presence. Not bad
