Another Big Sister of the Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale…. Loads of Malted Wheat for a Curious Malt Foundation and a Light Color, But Our Belgian Yeast Leaves a Huge Flavor and Complexishness.

Bomber bottle. Aroma is hoppy. The appearance is a nice copper with some creamy, white head. The taste hops over some good malt with that lagunitas dankness. The palate is fine. Overall, good beer, and will buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Appearance is light caramel color with lots of beige, frothy head. Aroma is yeasty and fruity. Taste is heavily malt, Belgian yeast, mild and smooth hop profile with notes of grapefruit. Especially pleased with the palate - dry but smooth, not overly bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear, orange-hued honey body topped with a fluffy, sticky off-white head that coats the glass with thick lacework. Aroma is...unique. Big hops, pine and citrus, but there’s a lot of Belgian flare: grass (from the wheat), clove, fruity esters, bubble gum. Mouth is medium-full with light carbonation and a balanced finish, on the dry side, sticky on the lips after a while. Flavor is sweet up front but with a large dose of hops throughout. Flavors of peach, grapefruit, citrus, wheaty finish that’s dry and bitter. Balanced. Big. Rated high...because I’m starting to do that now. And I like this beer quite a bit...quite a bit. A decent belgian...but thoroughly hopped and malted with good ole Lagunitas style.

It’s lighter, golden pour makes me wonder if this is an ale brewed with lager yeast, or a lager brewed with ale yeast. Either way, its malt sweetness and bitter hops are in perfect balance.

bomber sample- beautiful golden straw with a moderate white head, and sticky lacing. Excellent clarity. Nose- pine, fruity, spice, soapy. Taste- very interesting interplay of bittering hops and belgian yeast esters of floral fruitiness along with some citrus notes. Body and carbonation is spot on. A very dry finish from the significant hopping. Very tasty!

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a pillowy white head. The aroma is of floral hops, much like an IPA. Initial flavor is mildly sweet with some flowery hops but quickly moves to a bitter finish. Too bitter for my tastes.

Initial nose of hoppy citrus and pine is alluring.. Then things change for the worse mid-palate with the introduction of some big, rich, funky yeast qualities that don't strike as pleasant.. The finish is enjoyable though, as the funk calms and drifts off leaving a hoppy citrus impression behind. A rather big, rich beer. Not for me at this time. --- tasted while on a long journey to understand the world around me...

Nice and bitter with a good yeast character. I’m missing the spiciness i usually associate with belgian strong ales, but it’s good. You’ll find lots of piney aroma punctuated by a sweet malt underbelly. The taste is fruity, malty, with a hoppy punch. I really like how the fizzy gives a little bite. Quite good.
