Another Big Sister of the Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale…. Loads of Malted Wheat for a Curious Malt Foundation and a Light Color, But Our Belgian Yeast Leaves a Huge Flavor and Complexishness.

Characteristics of a golden strong, tripel, saison, and ipa are all presented on a silky smooth medium weight body, a very solid beer for an excellent price

A tall, frothy, white heads sits atop a slightly hazed amber body, carbonation initially decorates the glass with a few streamers, a few large spots and arcing peninsulas of lace hang on throughout the drink
Flowers, hay, and grass open the show with citrus, apple, and white pepper building over doughy honey biscuit on a silky smooth medium body with appropriate carbonation drying out and echoing all the aromas and flavors with pronounced white pepper and grass; as this warms, juicy, tropical hop notes gain traction and contrast with the Belgian yeast characteristics, harmony is finally restored during the final sips around 60º

12oz bottle code 203 3 6259 2210 (bottled 203rd day of 2013 = July 22nd) at 45º into Spiegelau Beer Classic Pilsner (tulip)

bottled. pours light yellow amber with a smooth moderate offwhite head. aromas of citrus, apple and banana with hints of roasted malt and caramel. has a nice bitter bite with a touch of brown sugar sweetness. This beer is of moderate body though it doesn’t look it. finishes strong with a lasting astringency. pretty good beer.

Tap at mellow mushroom. Nose is citrus and pine. Smooth and hop bite up front with some malt to balance. Hint of raisin too maybe. 8% fo' real. Good but not great. Still I wouldn't pull out before im done. ---Rated via my mouth

En skøn farve, en god smag, måske lidt for sød. Men skal smages igen. Men hvad smager den af ?

22 oz bottle from New Seasons - Pours an orange-yellow color with a nice pillowy head. Very hoppy scent. More on the citrus side than floral. A little citrus on the flavor, too, but not too Belgiany... Nice beer with a big kick.

Poured from a 22 ounce bomber into a Cigar City snifter. Bottled 8/30/10 per code 24270712 on bottle. (First 3 digits represent the day of the year) Appearance: Pours a clear light amber color with a 1-2 finger foamy white head. Nice lacing. Smell: Floral and grapefruit hops with slight hints of pine and yeast. Very subdued aroma. Not as bold as I would have liked. Taste: Sweet citrus up front followed by light bready malt in the middle and bitter grapefruit and very mild phenols at the finish. Aftertaste is fairly bitter. I barely pick up any flavor from the Westmalle yeast. I probably wouldn’t even notice it if I wasn’t specifically looking for it. Mouthfeel: Medium-to-full-bodied with a good amount of prickly carbonation. Drinkability: Very high drinkability. The alcohol is masked very well so this one could sneak up on you. Overall: Excellent beer overall. The nose is the only thing that could use a little improvement. I would definitely recommend this beer.

Pours little amber. Small white head. Good lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, hops, a little yeast zest. Flavor is the same. Little yeast zing in the flavor, and pineapple on the finish. Moderate to high carbonation, light finish, bitterness in the finish. Another good one from La-goo-nee-tus.

Pours amber with a very nice off white head with beautyful lacings. Aroma of fruity hops with strawberry and peach and also some caramel malty notes. Flavour is hoppy more dry and piny than the fruity aroma but still notes of strawberry and peach and a warming vinious finish.

Floral bouquet, peach skins, apricots, and fresh wheat aroma. Flavors of citrus fruits, belgian yeast, toffee, and burnt candied sugar. Slightly acidic and a peppery finish. Interesting mix of belgian and wheat style.. however, the ride seems a little bumpy. Eh, is ok.
