3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Poured clear, lighter golden with a sticky cap of white head. The aroma picked up lemon zest, grapefruit, and peppery yeast upfront, with soft bready malts supporting.. juicy and well-balanced, with an interesting accent from the yeast. The flavor found bready and honey sweetness at the core.. dry pepper and clovey yeast laced throughout.. hoppy too, with grapefruit and pine resin leading.. a lot of residual sweetness and some warmth at the end, but it sure was tasty. Medium-bodied with a slow, almost syrupy flow across the palate.. very solid brew overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber poured into my Duvel tulip.
A - Pours a hazy copper orange with a strong one finger white head that leaves light lacing down the glass.
S - Strong hop aroma consisting of spicy, resiny, hops with a hint of the alcohol that is contained in this one. A little sweetness from the malt and a little yeast? A good nose but not great.
T - Plenty of spicy, resiny, hops that leave a nice bitter feel on the pallet. Lots of sweet malts with a touch of bready yeast. Finishes with a strong, dry, taste from the alcohol. Pretty good taste but a tad on the boozy side.
M - Sticky sweet with medium flavor and body. Moderate carbonation with a good balance of flavors.
D - Fairly good offering. I liked this one but I don’t think I would sit down and drink a bunch of these all at once.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Aromas- Tropical fruit and pineapple dominate. Orange, peach, fresh hops, a little pine, a touch of caramel, and earthy hop spices. Very inviting. After the glass was empty, the residue smelled like bananas.
Taste- Sweet tropical fruit, grapefruit, orange, and light pine up front. Resinous pine, some earthy hop spice, grapefruit, and rind on the finish. Awesome caramel backbone flows underneath basically from beginning to end.
Palate- On the thicker side of medium. Oily and resinous with nice carbonation. Coats the entire mouth. Nice lingering bitterness without being too much.
