Another Big Sister of the Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale…. Loads of Malted Wheat for a Curious Malt Foundation and a Light Color, But Our Belgian Yeast Leaves a Huge Flavor and Complexishness.

Just about the best in style that I’ve had. Flavorful hoppiness in the beginning combined with a pleasant yeast flavor much like a wheat beer. Very nice floral aroma. Pours perfect with nice amber color. A great beer all around.

Holy crap. I’m having this back to back with a Pliny the Elder from a growler. I have to say this is just as good as Pliny. Not as crisp as Pliny, it has more mouth feel, but it has the same awesome hoppiness and sweetness as Pliny. At nearly 9% ABV, a bit more alcohol to boot. I know this isn’t an IPA, but it surely tastes like one but more fuller bodied. I heart Lagunitas.

Love the malt aroma, and the slight phenolic nose really made it special. Plum and fruit and big malt balanced perfectly. Great beer

Poured a brilliant, medium-deep gold color with a barely perceptible haze. Off-white, creamy, 1-inch head forms, settles slowly, but persists at 1/4 inch. Beautiful, well-developed Belgian lace after each sip. The nose intermingles yeasty notes with distinct hops, tropical fruit, citrus, wood, and cloves. Light and delicious on the palate with excellent balance that hides the 8.8% ABV, but don’t be fooled. The ABV is there! Lingers well but leaves a clean palate with hints of hop flavors, hop-bitterness, citrus, and cloves. Moderate carbonation with tiny bubbles. Expected more sourness given the "wild" descriptor, however, it is delicious! The moreishness increases as it rises to/above cellar temperature. Would be excellent with rich or fatty foods needing to be balanced with the increasingly evident hop.

I love this concept of hopping the shit out of a wheat beer like you would an ipa..I have loved the entire little sumpin series of beers...I have had a little sumpin sumpin..little sumpin extra..and a little sumpin wild...I need a clone recipe of this to brew up.

Disagree with some of these reviews. Perhaps I lucked into a good batch, but I had a couple of bottles the other night and thought this is the best bargain in store. Very complex yet drinkable.

Lucent copper, dense beige head, sticky and creamy full body, medium-high carbonation.

Aroma: bright citrus american hops, fresh sweet pale and caramel malt. Very DIPA.

Taste: lots of bright citrus vinyl floral evergreen hops, caramel malt, buiscuty yeast esters.

I’d call this a cross between double india pale ale and trappist golden - its west coast hops with some nice fresh bready belgian yeast character. I was expecting a sour ale, but this has much more of a trappist character. Very good. Complex but sessional. The only change i would make is less vinyl more floral hops.

Wow, this smells like you just bit into a wild hop. Great. This is really good; lot of hops but a little wilder, i suppose. Excellent stuff.

Bottle (355ml):
Pine hops and a sweet, yeast like aroma. There is yet more floral hops and a very fruity smell (pineapple and apricots along with a hint of orange and citrus).
Bright, golden orange colour and is topped by a two centimetre tall, foamy white head that has very good retention for such a strong beer; it lasts for a good couple minutes.
Hop filled taste to this one to begin with, mainly floral with some light pine. There is also a lot of fruit present, some citrus and orange along with some apricot.
Strong carbonation levels & medium body and plenty of bitterness. There is a good, hop infused bitter finish and a nice sweet quality to it overall.

An amazing beer. The nose was outstanding and the taste was about the same, there is nothing I can say to fault this beer.

Like little sumpin but with a great breast augmentation. Deep, complex flavors and the great aroma and added punch makes you savor for longer.
