3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, - OCT 18, 2011
Cheers to complexishness! Farmy and fruity in the nose with some peppery notes. Hazy golden-tan coloured body is topped by a decent and lasting, fine bubbled, off white head that coats the sides of the glass. Fruity flavours are up front nut malt sweetness is subdued. Quite dry and bitterness while not overwhelming is pronounced. Some peppery character in the aftertaste to counter the bubblegum sweetness. Dry medium body with strong effervescence. There’s a lot of elements I really enjoy here but they’re not coming together as I’d like. Sampled on tap at St. Augustine’s.

Deep amber color. Head faded pretty quick. Nice lacing. Slight sour aroma. Medium bodied. Taste has a slight sourness. Really well balanced though. The huge malts add the much needed sweetness to keep this from being too sour.

Pours a hazy golden orange with an off white head and aroma of hops and citrus. Taste is great, of hops, citrus, grapefruit, and yeast with a long smooth, bitter finish. Great tasting brew from Lagunitas.

Pours a hazy golden yellow. Small dissipating head. Nose is sweet and citrusy, and earthy. Taste is bitter and citrusy and the yeast breaks through rather easily. Landing is medium to long and bitter. Complex taste but grows on you. Quaff Score 7 /. 10

Bottle, Brew Dog Bar, Edinburgh. Hazy darkish golden orange pour with a thin off white head. Enticing nose of fragrant grassy hop mixed with notes of vanilla and a little funk. Smooth mouthfeel. Interesting and tasty flavour with some pronounced belgian yeast character jostling with some decent hop bitterness and balancing sweet malts. Alcohol fairly prominent. Enjoyable brew with plenty of character.

12oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy with flowery and estery notes from Belgian yeast. Taste is similar: little sweetness and nice bitterness, some fruity hops and a flowery touch from the Belgian yeast. Body is medium with good carbonation. Overall, refreshing and delicious.

Pours a clear gold with a thin white top and small lacing. Aroma is sweet honey hops, light pepper and pineapple. Taste has a slow sting of hop bitterness, sweet honey, light pepper. Nice beer but it’s missing the "wild". Still an awesome beer. Thanks to spinrsx for this.

12 oz. bottle from brew3crew. Pours a clear, orange amber color with a small to medium white head. The aroma is sweet honey splashed pale malt and hops that showcase diced pineapple, florals, and tangerine citrus. There is some mild peppery spice throughout. The flavor has a mildly sweet pale malt backbone with some honey dipped bread. The peppery spice melds well with the hop flavors which favor tropical fruits, citrus and some floral notes. The finish has some solid bitterness and a hint of the alcohol. Medium plus body with a slightly sticky feel. A solid brew at a good price.
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 spacecube (78) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2012
Pours a nice golden translucent brown, head is small just leaving a lacing, wonderful aroma of malts and alcohol. Taste is fantastic, the alcohol comes through in amongst a nice balance of malts and hops, but this is a easy to drink beer. Very well balanced with little lingering sweetness or bitterness. Great stuff
4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20 flying_pig (345) - SCOTLAND - MAR 27, 2012
Bottle (355ml):
Pine hops and a sweet, yeast like aroma. There is yet more floral hops and a very fruity smell (pineapple and apricots along with a hint of orange and citrus).
Bright, golden orange colour and is topped by a two centimetre tall, foamy white head that has very good retention for such a strong beer; it lasts for a good couple minutes.
Hop filled taste to this one to begin with, mainly floral with some light pine. There is also a lot of fruit present, some citrus and orange along with some apricot.
Strong carbonation levels & medium body and plenty of bitterness. There is a good, hop infused bitter finish and a nice sweet quality to it overall.
An amazing beer. The nose was outstanding and the taste was about the same, there is nothing I can say to fault this beer.
