Draft at HopCat, Grand Rapids. Deep murky red-brown body, thin tan head. Toasty nose with notes of brown sugar, caramel, and alcohol. Body with a warm alcohol punch, toasty and earthy with oxidized caramels and a brandy finish.

brandy barrel aged hairy eyeball. dark brown with small off white head. aroma of caramelized sugar, barrel, big milky chocolate. flavor is big in brandy some foliage, big spice. 747414.

Draught at the brewery.
Cloudy dark brown with a bit of lace. Aroma is of chocolate, brandy, lots of fruit. Flavor of vanilla, oak, brandy, cherry, chocolate. Complex and over the top, but nicely drinkable. The regular one aged 4 years in the bottle was better.

On tap at the brewery. Pours with a hazed/murky brown body with a small off-white head. Aromas of cereal, wood, brown sugar, bready, grainy, brandy, light wood, fusel and melanoidins. Malt rich, light esters and dark fruit. Flavors are of brandy, fruity, light alcohol, grainy, cereal and brown sugar. Warming with lingering dark fruit notes.

Dark brown with a small fizzy white head. Aroma of molasses brown sugar brandy and alcohol. Strong molasses and brandy taste with notes of vanilla caramel and oak with an alcoholic finish.
