4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
On tap at Roscoe's in SE Portland. Brown, opaque. Spicy cherry aroma. Lots going on in the mouth - brown sugar, burnt raisins, spice, sour cherries. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Slight burnt cherry aftertaste. Reminds me of a He'Brew concoction in a very good way.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at Holiday Ale Fest. Deep brown pour, small beige head. Very spicy smelling, with nice hints of spruce as well as some roast and vanilla. Big spices upfront, with ginger and nutmeg, light bourbon, and lots of brown sugar. Many people at the fest seemed to hate this one, but I actually enjoyed it. Might help that I love the base beer so much.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap @ Holiday Ale Fest... Poured deep, dark, brown with an off-white head. Spiced nose. Little roast and vanilla, but very heavy on the spices. Hints of spruce, apples, nutmeg, ginger, with a subtle, sweet booziness.
