| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2008 Glowing red pour with thin mocha head. Nose of sweetness with raisin, some vegetable and grapes. Flavor is sweet citrus with piney hops and lingering sugar. Lighter bodied than I was expecting, but makes it easy drinking. jjuf1853 (482), Land O Lakes, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 21, 2008 Slightly hazy coppery red-orange body, medium buff head. Aroma of tart brown sugar, light caramel, grape, toast, and citrusy hops. Bready, caramely body with a strong citrusy, piney hops kick. Lingering bitter finish with hot alcohol notes. Sweet and prickly. Hazmatt (363), Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 20, 2008 Bottle. Pours a surprisingly light but rich looking copper, amber. Hardly any head. Sweet, spicy aroma, like a malty barleywine w/ alcohol aromas. Flavor is full, heavy malt with alcohol and some citrusy hops. Bordering on harsh. Med to full bodied. Manages to be fairly dry. robforbes (1114), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 17, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear amber with ring head. Mild aroma of hops sugar port alcohol and wood. Brown sugar sweet, very cherry/raisin fruity, medium bitter finish, faint alcohol. Full body medium-low carbo. To me, this has a disagreeable funky combination of fruity sweetness and alcohol. Fruity sweetness lingers like cough medicine. Might be ok for other people; obviously it is because people go crazy for this stuff. I don’t want to finish it. oakbluff (302), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Pours a ruby chestnutt. Excellent clariy with a foamy white head. Smell- fruity sweetness. Taste- initial flavours are hops and fruit. Sweet malts come through in the middle and finish is bitter and dry. The extra sugar has fermented down nicely. Not cloying but you definitely know its there. Like liquid caramel. Good sipper on a winter night. GriffinAvenue (396), Winchester, Massachusetts, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2008 Draft. Caramel brown color. Soapy, thick 1" head. Malty. Hoppy. Tart, tangy with milky smooth delivery. Like a cross between a milk stout and an IPA. No harshness on finish and leaves warm fuzzies in tummy.
