3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from bottle to glass. Reddish-amber hue with nice white head. Light lacing. Aroma is heavy malt, caramel, hoppy, citrus, pine, melon, ethanol. Mouthfeel is great due to full body and good carbonation balance. Taste is very sweet initially followed with a nice bitterness from the hops. CO2 bite and slight ethanol in the finish. Overall, this is a really nice brew from Lagunitas.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle (12 oz). From mathieuc, thanks! Clear copper with a medium mostly lasting beige head and good lacing. Aroma is piney with caramel malt, light fruits/citrus and alcohol. Taste is moderately sweet with pine/resinous presence along malt/caramel, citrus, alcohol and a small/moderate bitter finish. Medium body. Good carbonation. Oily mouthfeel. Dry finish. Pretty straightforward... hops & malt/caramel. Drinkable despite the sweetness and abv. Not bad, but definitely not one I would buy again.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
bottle from mathieuc, thanks dawg. pours clear gloden orange with a nice off-white head, some retention and lacing. soft pine needles in doughy and chewy fruity and caramel malts, nice fruitiness - oranges, sweetened apricots, hint of chocolate, chalky notes, lightly sugary malts - brown sugar nod, warming booze. moderate carbonation, medium body - oily and a bit sticky, ending with an assertive non-harsh grassy-spicy-citrusy-piney finish. not really complex and kind of bold but it’s still nice!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a reddish brown color with a small white head that leaves a lot of lacing throughout the beer. Smells of loads upon loads of hops, citrus and piney the like. Taste is sweet up front followed by hop character that is not overwhelming, alcohol is hidden very well.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A barely hazy reddish copper beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is strong, resiny and floral hops. The flavor is also very hoppy, lots of resin, some citrus, and a well balanced malty backing.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. bottle. Appearance: amber-red color, small white head with good lacing, a bit cloudy. Aroma: caramel, citrus, basement aromas, resin, floral, citrus. Palate: full bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, medium length bitter finish. Taste: heavy cloying sweetness up front, medium bitterness building towards the end. Was not the biggest fan at first, but after a few sips, it really grew on me. the balance of malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness is well done and somewhat unique to this beer for me. Actually very enjoyable and memorable.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Auburn with a very thin almost no existent head. Almost no lacing or bubbling either. Smells hoppy. Sweet and hoppy taste. Notes of hay. You can tell it’s a strong beer. Oily texture. Feels lively in the mouth. Interesting but not my kind of beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Breeze Thru. Pours a reddish brown with an off-white head leaving a lot of lacing. Aroma is all hops; grassy hops with pine and citrus plus tangy oniony spices. Possibly faint toffee malts down through the glass. Taste is of very sweet toffee, brown sugar, onion/garlic herbs, stone fruits and grapefruit and orange zest. Some alcohol. Quite chewy. Medium bodied and syrupy. Finishes very sweet and quite onion/garlic-y, and dry. This is an interesting brew; major hoppy nose with malty flavor. The herbs wound up offputting over the length of the glass. Solid overall.
