COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An aborted batch of their Old Gnarleywine ended up tasting nearly as good as that they were hoping for, so they bottled it. God bless capitalism. OG 1.100 IBU 51.1

WOW THIS BEER WAS SO GOOD!!!!!!! It was like desert in a glass. Nice full flavor of an ale with the sweetness of brown shugga. My new beer for my sweet tooth days!

Maybe itís because I drank this on christmas eve or itís because itís the best barley wine i have ever had. Either way it tasted great and had a high alcohol content. This beer is a future purchase for sure!

Just simply awesome. Another strong ale that Lagunitas has knocked out of the park.

This might be the perfect beer - for me. Non intrusive taste and clean finish. I love it. Not bitter but a definite IPA taste.

red copper hue , nose of light hops , sweet and clean, taste is chewy with a sweet/ sour and metallic thing going on, sweet shugga finish, on of my personal favorites

Poured from a 12oz bottle, deep malty aroma, nice barley wine taste with a sweet backbone. It's hard to explain. But a truly amazing beer, a must try ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Just what Iíve been searching for! They ought to call this, "What Can Brown Do For You." High octane beer with noticeable alcohol, sweet but not syrupy, spicy, fruity, bitter but not chalky, powdery head, atop deep red ruby translucence. Like velvet in the mouth.

Donít be fooled by 9.8% abv, this is a serious beer. Itís hoppy, sweet, and has plenty of malt. This beer has a huge flavor so save it for last because of the overwhelming hops.

Bottle 355ml. Masterpiece. Aromas of lychees, cherries, caramel, butterscoth, slightly roasted, with a hint of alcohol. Taste is sweet, with light bitterness and long length. Palate is syrupy, and fully bodied. Red, with a thin head.

This is one of those rare beers that not only looks like a light pretty beer but tastes like a full double IPA. The aroma orange zest, pineapple, mango, and lime. Great malt back up to this hop wallop. Very tasty
