Deep brown body with a big rich head. Super sweet and chocolaty aroma. The taste is heavy on the sweet and light on the roasted malt flavors. Kinda bland.

Bottle. Pours a brown body with a creamy off white head. Big roasty nose, sweet and malty, light alcohol with vanilla and lots of coffee in the finish. Great.

Was expecting a stronger aroma. Poured dark black as expected, head maintained even after a couple minutes. Flavor was roasted, but as strong as I was expecting. Not saying that is a good or a bad thing, probably made it more drinkable but less unique. On the palate, it was thinner then I was expecting, the sweetness didnt linger too long, which was nice. Overall, pretty good. One of the better Lagunitas beers I think.

Crushed with Jakebra. It’s aight. Thin body to be sure. Coffee…it definitely tried to wake Jakebra up. It may have succeeded. Not black enough for me. I like my coffee like I like my women: hot and strong, with a spoon in them. This is none of those. Luckily I like my beer different than coffee and women. But it still misses out on awesomeness. But it has moments of veryniceness.

Pours a clear deep brown color with a small creamy tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, roasted nuts and malt. Flavor is sweet and not as good as the aroma. Very thin on the palate. Good, but I would probably pass on buying it in the future.

Bottle. Dark brown pour; lighter than expected. Thin off-white head, and a thin body for a stout. Smells super sweet and creamy. Coffee flavor/aroma was milder than expected. More of a milk chocolate/toffee/nutty malt profile. Some mild fruit as well. Too sweet for me overall.
