Old rating. Chocolate colored pour. Coffee strong with nice amounts of booze and. Chocolate. A little thin on mouthfeel for such a big coffee stout.

Iíve had this in my beercellar since april 2013 - Now 2 years later itís time to open it! Great nose: Coffee, chocolate, dark bread, mocha. Taste of coffee, roasted malt, dark chocolate, pumpernickel, dark fruit and some vanilla. Very smooth! Medium to full body and light carbonation. This was very good two years ago and it still is! The years in the cellar has done the beer just good.

Pours black like oil with khaki colored head. Coffee, roasted malt, and a little chocolate on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more coffee. Like a nice cup oí joe with some cocoa and booze.

Drank from a snifter glass at Delicious Heights. Strong aromas of coffee, strong taste of coffee but a bit of a bourbon finish. Nothing spectacular...

Pours a thin tan head on a black body. The aroma is coffee, chocolate, burnt toast and wood. The taste full. A punch of bitter black coffee and burnt wood, slight mellowing with roasted malt and finishes with a short sweet note. The texture is thick. Outstanding.

Dark brown with a thick, creme brulee head, generous lacing, and a dark chocolate, coffee nose. Easy intro with a mildly-carbonated, malty mouthfeel followed by a dark roast coffee, dark chocolate finish with some alcohol warming.

A good overall stout. Very dark, not super heavy, but a nice medium thickness. Decent carbonation with a fuzzy dark head. Flavors of coffee, chocolate, malts, etc. The coffee flavor was not overwhelming like some other coffee/mocha stouts I tried, but noticeable for sure. Will buy again.

Draft. Like coffee in color -- a clear light brown at the faucet coalescing darker stuff in the glass. The head is a dense expanse of sandy foam. Oily, almost spicy coffee beans in the aroma, backed up by a little grape, milk chocolate and toast. The flavor mirrors the nose, with the sharp beans delivering a jolt of java before a hint of dark fruits and a smooth roasted malts roll in. Surprisingly light on the palate for the alcohol content. A coffee stout in which the beans are almost secondary to the beer -- they accent the stout but donít overpower its flavors.
