Bottle. Black, med/large tan colored head. Dissipated pretty quick. Aroma of roast, vanilla bean, coffee. Bitter coffee flavor, not very sweet. Some vanilla hints and roastiness. Fairly drier than expected. Good.

Bottle from crown liquor in Ft Laud. Black pour with a nice big brown head. Aromas of dark roasted coffee and chocolate. Flavor reminds me of a chocolate coffee flavor from Barnies. Very toasty finish with a nice overall body.

(Bottle, Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 26 July 2008) Black colour with frothy, brown head. Roasted, malty nose with fresh notes of coffee. Malty, slightly smokey taste with lots of coffee and notes of milky chocolate. Nice coffee bitterness in the finish. Perfectly balanced with alcohol well hidden. Very nice beer.

It has a beige head and a black body. Strong espresso smell along with the roasted malts aroma. Tastes like a ton of dark espresso beans thrown into coffee. Lots of roasted malts. Alcohol is really well covered up. Not too thick.

Such a smooth beer. Obviously a lot of coffee and mocha throughout, but also some chocolate notes, roasted malt. Thicker, chocolate milk mouthfeel.

dry for a stout and the hop selection plays well with the coffee flavor. They say a good shot of espresso tastes like fresh coffee smells, that is how this tastes. Very nice.

Thick, impenetrable, inky black, slim cocoa-toned head... bittersweet nose, tons of coffee tones, little sweetness, earthy, roasty.... Tasting it...mmm, there it all is, in the nutshell, rich, roasty, coffee and chocolate. Smooth, and full of flavor. Great texture, lots of play on the palate. My notes on this were minimal, but my pleasure in the drinking was not. Very nice coffee stout. I’ll return to this one again!
