Taste is of more of the same with a sweet tartness to the finish. Decent brew. jb (1024), Rochester, New York, USA Apr 24, 2008 Dark brown with tan head with some lacing and decent retention. Aroma is classic coffee and chocolate. Palate is more roasted and burnt along with chocolate milkshake taste and consistency with the coffee edge. Good. ketchepillar (476), Viña del Mar, Chile Apr 23, 2008 Small disappearing head. Aroma: alcohol, coffee, bourbon barrel, not much chocolate. Flavor: chocolate, coffee, alcohol bourbon stuff. It’s a little burnt astrigent combined with a disagreeable carbonation brings down an otherwise full bodied smooth stout.
