Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout

thanks BDR. dark brown with little head, aroma of dates and coffee. flavors of dates, burnt malt and a mediciney aftertaste.

Courtesy of BDR. Brown color with a thin head. Very light coffee aroma. Decent espresso flavor along with a bit of lactose. Not nearly as much screaming coffee as I’d expect, but decent enough.

Deep brown colour with a small beige head. Light roasted aroma with coffee notes. Roasted malty, coffee bitter flavor, maybe one-dimensional but balanced.

Tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. Pours dark brown, with a small head and Nice flavor, coffee comes through but not too much. Very well balanced.

Pours dark brown, small head. Nice flavor, coffee comes through. Alcohol comes through more than expected for this abv. . A very nice stout.

Dark brown with thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Taste is of more of the same with a sweet tartness to the finish. Decent brew.

Dark brown with tan head with some lacing and decent retention. Aroma is classic coffee and chocolate. Palate is more roasted and burnt along with chocolate milkshake taste and consistency with the coffee edge. Good.

Small disappearing head. Aroma: alcohol, coffee, bourbon barrel, not much chocolate. Flavor: chocolate, coffee, alcohol bourbon stuff. It’s a little burnt astrigent combined with a disagreeable carbonation brings down an otherwise full bodied smooth stout.
