Shared with Lee. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aroma is chocolate milk, and coffee soem roasted grain. Taste is Chocolate malt, coffee, and roasted grain. Smooth thick body which makes it easy to forget the 8% alcohol. Really tasty.

I liked this one but it did not blow me away. Pours a nice dark black brown color with a medium sized brown head. Nose is chocolate, coffee beans, and hops. Taste is malty, chocolatey, and of fresh ground java, with a nice ultra bitter finish and bite. Tastes like beer plus cappuccino, which yes I have actually had in the same glass.

Bottle pours a dark brownish black color with a foamy tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, and malted milk. Bitter flavor with taste of coffee, chocolate, blackberries, and roasted malts. Was expecting more of an over the top coffee flavor from Lagunitas but overall I think the mix of flavors blend well together.

22 oz. bottle poured a dark cola color with a thick one inch layer of tan head diminishing to a ring in the glass with some pooling at the surface. aroma has coffee, sweet malt, dark fruit, molasses, and toffee. mouth feel is on the lighter side for a stout but there is a coating thickness. flavor has coffee, molasses, malts, some interesting sugary dark fruit, and cocoa powder. does have a cappuccino like quality and finishes with some bitters but very smooth. a little light in body but it works and the flavor is very good.

Bottle pours a black I can see through. Head is a light tan with long head retention. Smell like a strong dark coffee beer. Tastes like I’m drinking a coffee beer. Very good.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Sweet aroma with notes of roasted malt, coffee beans and cappuccino. Medium/full body. Sweet flavor with notes of roasted malt, coffee, and a light touch of chocolate. Very good.

Bomber. Pours near black with a thin brown head. Aroma of brown sugar, caramel, and espresso. Flavor is of bitter espresso and dark chocolate, fading to a tart/astringent coffee aftertaste. Nice incorporation of coffee flavor, not too overwhelming. A tad thinner than expected, but a good stout.
