On tap at College Inn from way back. Dark brown color with a tan head. Big notes of mocha coffee and bitterness. Great balance.

22 oz bottle. Was interested in this beer, because I do like coffee stouts quite a bit, and I have had Lag’s Gnarly Wine, which was good, so why not? Pours a surprisingly light color, a dark brown that catches the light around all the corner (reddish color), with no head. Smells of coffee, some cream, a little milk chocolate, and a hint of malt. Tastes of lots of bitter coffee (think of coffee, if you could burn it, that’s what it is like). Also a bit of creaminess, which is I suppose the cappuccino part of it? Goes down fairly smooth, but has too light of a mouthfeel for a stout, especially a coffee stout. Not bad though, especially for the price.

I am a sucker for coffee stouts but this is a good representative of the style. Nice thick head but the mouthfeel is too thin for a stout.

Deep black pour with creamy tan head and lace. A medium coffee aroma. Hard coffee flavor dominates followed by what I think is a medium malt bitter finish. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Nice coffee flavor, not enough stout flavor. I enjoyed it, but the coffee flavor should be more subtle. The price is always better with Lagunitas though

This was excellent. Couldn’t tell it was beer - would have easily mistaken it for a nice iced coffee!!
You get a bit of a bite, some caramel malt, but mostly this is all coffee.
