Pours to about a finger length head that retains pretty well and leaves creamy rings of lacing. Aroma of roasted coffee and chocolate; was expecting some more milk notes with cappuccino, but didnít notice them as much. Flavor is lots of burnt roast with, again, only the most minor of milk note. A good beer, but not a wower. I was hoping for a little more cappuccino also.

Some decent roast malt but this is a huge coffee bomb. A little too much, enough that the other elements are left behind. Finishes with bitter coffee. Pours black without much head or lacing for a stout. On tap at DC Summerfest.

A very good smooth stout. Not entirely black and enough stout character to get the job done. Coffee adds a great dimension.

22oz bottle 5/22/14 (Binnyís Downers Grove)-40į in Snifter-Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, and roasted malt. Taste of chocolate, coffee, malt, and finishes with a bitterness. This medium bodied brew is a bit lighter than most imperial stouts but this hides the alcohol very well. Good brew.

A decent dive into dark territory. Chocolate and espresso wafts from the thin tan head. Some vanilla as well. Being a stout it is dark brown and opaque. I found this one a bit bitter with slightly stinging coffee aftertaste. A medium thick mouthfeel on this baby. I would not buy again over other stouts but beer is beer and I would gladly take this so-so suds-bucket and dump it in me again.

Wow. This one is all dark roast coffee... with a backbone of roasted malt. The nose is light coffee and malty.

The color of this beer is an opaque very dark brown with a large tan head, and the aroma blends roasted coffee beans, cocoa nibs, and caramel malts. The taste has a mild malt bitterness, mild umami, slight sweetness, and a touch of sourness, creating a complex and pleasant flavor; the palate fuses a soft carbonation, medium-full body, slick and thick texture, and a finish that is similar to coffee bitterness with a hint of sweetness.

650ml bottle into Megamug; served cool. I canít find a date on the bottle, but the ABV is 9.2% and OG is 1.076. There are some numbers towards the neck of the bottle: 025 4 6690 0332 Aroma: Strong coffee aroma, with just a little bit of chocolate. Roasty. Appearance: Opaque, dark brown body with a dark tan, foamy head. Superb lacing. Taste: Very, very dark roasted coffee. Itís like having whole beans in your mouth. Roasty, maybe even burned, coffee. Quite bitter. Barely any chocolate notes. Palate: Full bodied, but not creamy or thick. Moderate amount of prickly carbonation. The carbonation feels slow, if that makes any sense. The finish lasts quite a bit, and is all bitterness. Overall: I donít know why this is a "cappuccino" stout. It doesnít have any creamy, foamy flavors, and it tastes more like doughnut shop coffee than espresso. Itís good! I wish they had pursued more creamy flavors and textures.

Pours a deep brown almost black color with a roasted coffee aroma. Taste is rich with an espresso flavor mixed with a dark malt. A nice colombian coffe flavor after the swallow that dissipates and blends well . A good limited release that is very flavorful.
