Pours near black with a ruby tint and a substantial, creamy beige head. The aroma is pungent coffee and milk with bright citric hops. The nose is muted compared to the flavour, but its hoppy enough to sting the nostrils. Very rich coffee flavour that tastes authentic and plenty of hops balancing and giving the mid-palate flavour more bitterness. There are notes of dried dark fruit and in the finish, burnt coffee and milky sweetness. The body is a tad on the thin side, but the soft, yet tingly carbonation and creamy finish make up mostly for the lack of body.

Poured an extremely deep mahogany red color body with a decent sized beige frothy head. The aroma was strong coffee and cream. Flavor was the same strong coffee with a little bit of burnt malts present and a dry finish. A little more body wouldn’t hurt this stout.

Not bad at all. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Nice lacing on the side of glass. Aroma is a bit hoppy...not the coffee I was anticipating. Flavor is sweet, bitter and has a wonderful coffee finish. Toward the end of the glass it has a nice heavy weight, that leaves bitterness on the tongue. Very happy with this beer.

Poured very dark brown with medium tan head. Aroma is of roasted coffee, toffee, and chocolate. Taste is very nicely roasted coffee; Not too bittter.Nice dry finish. The body overall is way too thin. Call this one a porter and I’m very impressed.... Call it a stout and I’ll tell you it should be called a porter.

What a great beer. Pours jet black with a 1 inch tan head. Aroma is of lots of coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. Flavor is of roasted coffee with a hint of caramel. Also, the hops and greater abv come into play in the flavor as well. Great. 1 pt. 0.6 oz. bottle.

Sort of a weird one. Pours an unpleasant clear dark brown with a large tan head. Flavor has coffee and some dark fruits in it. Sort of like an english porter with coffee based on the aroma. Flavor leans heavily on the coffee elements with a bit of a tangy finish and some notes of fig. It’s weird, but pretty good.
