Maxamillion (103), Glendora, California, USA Dec 14, 2007 Pours very dark brown with brown head. Nice aroma of coffee and chocolate. Flavor also has lots of roast coffee and chocolate with some cream in there. Palate is a little thinner than i expected but still nice. Overall a pretty nice beer. Has a good alcohol punch but not overbearing(although my buzz is strong right now). pretty nice beer. carboloader (318), Houston, Texas, USA Dec 14, 2007 Pours opaque with small tan head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is malt, fruity hops, tasty roast. Creamy and full with a nice long bitter finish. Serious alcohol kick. Quite delightful. railcat1 (578), Orlando, Florida, USA Dec 14, 2007 This was a coffee stout which was a little thin but not bad at all, taste of chocolate and malts with a nice finish.CHEERS! jstraw (750), Chicago, Illinois, USA Dec 13, 2007 Updated: Jan 13, 2008Black with big, foamy, creamy brown head / Subdued roast coffee nose / Medium to full, rough, chewy, body with long hop finish / Flavors of roast coffee and toffee / Not a great deal of complexity, but quite good. scooterling (21), S. San Francisco, California, USA Dec 12, 2007 Thick, dark, and slightly sweet. A little reddish when held up to the light. seems more chocolatey than coffeeish. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA Dec 11, 2007 Extra from redlight from the Homebrew Mystery Swap 1.0. Dark brown to opaque black in color with large off-white/beige head. Aroma of cold coffee with chocolate, sweet roasted malt. Sweet creamy coffee, with sweet milk chocolate, mild bittering hops. Medium body that is fairly chunky. Not half bad, actually kind of good. drfabulous (1212), Columbia, Missouri, USA Dec 11, 2007 Rich chocolate flavor. Not a cappuccino, just a solid, rich coffee stout. There’s a nice creamy roast flavor to this beer. Very solid. Very good. robforbes (1083), Bremerton, Washington, USA Dec 11, 2007 Updated: Dec 28, 2008old rating:
